Description
Summary:In this study, by analyzing the basin characteristics of the planned installation site of the erosion control dam near Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do, and applying the forest restoration feasibility analysis method, we tried to help against natural disasters such as soil runoff through the installation of the erosion control dams in the right place. In this study, the feasibility evaluation of forest restoration research was conducted based on 「CREATION AND MANAGEMENT OF FOREST RESOURCES ACT」 and 「EROSION CONTROL WORK ACT」. The evaluation procedure for forest restoration research was carried out in the following order: preliminary investigation (data collection and analysis), on-site investigation, review and feasibility evaluation of the investigation results, and presentation of research results. The investigation factors were analyzed sequentially, including the causes of forest damage, the area of damage, legal restrictions, landslide risk grades, and socio-cultural status. The research target area located in Seomyeon, Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon Province, was 2.0 ha, and comprehensively analyzed by investigating all items such as damage status, surrounding environment, basic environment, and ecosystem status. The research results showed that the implementation of forest restoration research is expected to have various effects such as improvement of natural environment, soil conservation, provision of habitat for living things, provision of rich landscape, and education and publicity effects, so it was judged reasonable to promote forest restoration research. This study was conducted to help prevent landslide disasters by analyzing the factors that cause them by conducting a feasibility study on the proposed installation site of a check dam by comparing the main factors according to the flow chart of the forest restoration research in the Cheorwon-gun area of Gangwon Province. It is believed that successful forest restoration will be achieved by continuously conducting monitoring after the forest restoration research is conducted.
