Holocene glacier variations and their potential orbital, solar, volcanic and anthropogenic forcings
The magnitude of glacier advances generally increased in the Northern Hemisphere and decreased in the Southern Hemisphere over the Holocene. This trend can be explained be the orbital forcings.
