Description
Summary:This paper analyzes the Zhengzhou Metro Line, focusing on a case with an existing structure in its alignment. It uses shield construction methods and on-site survey data, employing Midas GTS NX software for finite element analysis. A numerical model for an underpass beneath a subway station was created through displacement back analysis to identify optimal layer thickness. The study examined deformation and stress in the surrounding strata and the station during the construction of a double-line shield. Findings revealed that the station's stiffness and end pre-treatment significantly limited strata displacement, with maximum settlement measured at 12.97 mm and uplift at 12.02 mm in the non-underpass section. This research offers valuable insights for metro projects globally, enhancing understanding of shield tunneling impacts on adjacent structures.
