description The review gives a high assessment of the monograph, whose authors present a number of original ideas and share their experience in researching linguistic creativity in film discourse. In order to conduct such a study, the famous linguist I.V. Zykova developed an innovative method of discursive-parametric analysis, which involved creating new concepts and terms. The results of the study demonstrate that creative modelling of the verbal system of film discourse is a multi-stage process whose prospects in linguistic studies are beyond doubt.
