description The analysis method of tooth flank mismatch meshing is studied for the spiral bevel gear of automobile drive axle. Firstly,the mathematical model of tilt cutting method is established,and the cradle angle is derived according to the meshing equation,so the tooth flank equation can be simplified. Secondly,the gear meshing angle is derived based on the equality unit normal vector of the gear meshing mathematical model(TCA),so the TCA solving equations can be simplified. On this basis,the tooth flank mismatch values are calculated by calculating the deviations between the pinion actual tooth flank and pinion reference tooth flank which is fully conjugated with the gear,and the tooth flank Ease off topology is constructed by graphical expression. Compared with the traditional tooth flank meshing analysis method,the proposed method not only reduces the number of equations,but also makes the algorithm more stable. The Ease off topology can visually display the whole tooth flank mesh state and improve the current TCA output.
