| Summary: | What are the characteristics of the restructuring of capitalism in recent decades? What new type of worker is required by new productive organizations? These are some of the fundamental questions that go through the work of Giovanni Alves. From a lukacsian marxist and a compilation of important authors, Alves show the content of the changes on work, playing a central role in the Toyota model of work organization, spread out both inside and outside the factory. The trends show systematically the changes that have been made in recent decades, in contemporary capitalism. However, the thesis of the "capture of subjectivity", held by the author, goes beyond any possibility of resistance, of the minds and bodies of workers and society in general, constitute a problematic aspect of the works. |
