Summary:The articulated dump truck operates in harsh environments, and its transfer case must have high reliability and safety. Taking the articulated dump truck transfer case as the research object, a three-dimensional assembly model of the transfer case was established in SolidWorks software, the MSC.Patran software was used to establish a finite element model, and the Masta software was used to establish a load spectrum based on actual working conditions. The comprehensive displacement, comprehensive stiffness, gear contact stress, and other strength and stiffness characteristics of important components such as the transfer case housing, transmission shaft, and transmission gear were analyzed. At the same time, the service life of the bearing under this load spectrum was calculated. The research provides reference and technical support for optimizing the structure, performance, and service life of the transfer case.
