Summary:This study presents the inclusive pedagogical practices at the Ilha do Amparo Municipal School in Paranaguá and explores the history of the struggles of rural peoples. Using an exploratory-descriptive approach, the research involved interviews with teachers, a literature review and analysis of school documents. The objectives were to analyse the pedagogical practices in use, identify the importance of these practices for the teachers and understand their impact on the students' learning. The study concluded that it is essential to know the realities surrounding rural areas, especially in teacher training, and that pedagogical practices in rural education are essential to guarantee quality education for all. Inclusive pedagogical practices seek to meet the needs of students, valuing the culture and identity of rural peoples. This study can contribute to understanding rural education and teacher training.
