Combination of bolus and continuous infusion of factor VIII in a patient with severe hemophilia A undergoing on‐pump coronary artery bypass graft surgery
Key Clinical Message Patients with hemophilia A can safely undergo cardiac surgery. Combining continuous infusion and boluses of factor VIII is both safe and cost‐effective. Interdisciplinary approach and meticulous planning are crucial in the prevention of bleeding complications.
