| Summary: | On April 28, 2025, a large-scale power outage occurred in parts of the Iberian Peninsula and southern France, seriously affecting local social production and people's normal lives. Based on existing publicly available ENTSO-E data and Gridradar monitoring data, this article comprehensively summarizes the process of the power outage and explores the possible causes. It attempts to analyze the possible causes of the power outage from three dimensions: why the new energy unit tripped before the incident, why the power grid in Spain was disconnected after the incident, and why the power grid in Spain collapsed after the disconnection. Finally, based on the actual situation of China's power grid, from the perspective of suppliers of new energy power grid system equipment and system solutions, with the premise of safe and stable operation of the new energy power grid system, the directions and inspirations that need to be focused on in the future are proposed. |
