description Spiral bevel gears are widely used in many fields. Research on the robust optimization design technology of spiral bevel gears is of great significance for improving the service life of spiral bevel gears and reducing noise in transmission. Thus, the ideas and methods of robust optimization design are introduced; the research done by scholars at home and abroad on the robust optimization design of spiral bevel gears is summarized; combined with the discussion of the influence on the meshing performance of spiral bevel gears and based on the robust optimization design research and analysis of spiral bevel gears, the current problems and shortcomings are summarized, which provide reference for the precise design of our country's aviation spiral bevel gears and the research on vibration and noise reduction.
