Retrospective observational cohort study of premature neonates screened for ROP with 7 years of follow-up assessing the visual outcomes and adequacy of preschool visual screening by Emma McAllister, Ruth Hamilton, Eoghan Millar, Alasdair Innes Simpson, Jacqueline Wright

    Published 2024-12-01
“…Background Very premature infants screened for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) that do not develop ROP still experience serious visual developmental challenges, and while it is recommended that all children in the UK are offered preschool visual screening, we aimed to explore whether this vulnerable group requires dedicated follow-up.Methods We performed a real-world retrospective observational cohort study of children previously screened for ROP in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (Scotland) between 2013 and 2015. …”

Secure outsource computing scheme of modular exponentiation based on single server by Weijie DING

    Published 2018-01-01
“…At present,in discrete-log based cryptographic protocols, most of the computational models of modular exponentiation are for primes, while less work has been done for composite. What’s more, most schemes are based on two servers,in which it requires at least one server to be honest. However, there may not be a fully trusted cloud server in the actual environment. Then a new secure method for outsourcing exponentiation modular a composite which based on a single server was proposed. The scheme used a new mathematical division method,it could ensure the privacy of the base and exponentiation.Compared with the existing schemes, the checkability of our scheme can be greatly improved. The user can detect the error result with the probability of 119/120.…”

Research on Tension Distributed Characteristic of Scraper Chain based on State Observer by Xing Zhang, Fan Jiang, Chenxi Jia, Yutan Li, Chuanjin Zhang

    Published 2022-02-01
“…Aiming at the structural complexity of chain drive system and the difficulty in tension distribution analysis of the scraper chain, the tension distributed characteristics of the scraper chain are studied based on the design of state observer.A chain-drive virtual prototype model is constructed by the Adams simulation software, and the discrete mathematical model of the chain drive system is then established based on the finite element analysis.Through design of the state observer, the estimation of tension distribution of the scraper chains is accomplished,so as to provide an effective basis for the operation status assessment of the scraper conveyor.…”

STRUCTURAL DESIGN AND EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF ADJUSTABLE 3-DOF VIBRATING SCREEN by HAN Meng, GONG ZhiQiang, WANG ChengJun

    Published 2022-01-01
“…Aiming at the problems of screen blinding, low screening efficiency and unstable screening performance of traditional vibrating screen in agricultural field, a three degree of freedom adjustable vibrating screen was designed, including leveling device, two degree of freedom excitation system, single degree of freedom excitation system, controller and level monitor. The two degree of freedom excitation system provides reciprocating movement along the x-axis and rotation around the y-axis for the screen disk, while the single degree of freedom excitation system provides reciprocating movement along the y-axis for the screen disk, and the two are connected in series to form a three degree of freedom excitation device. The kinematics simulation of the vibrating screen was carried out by using ADAMS software to verify that the vibrating screen can vibrate with 1~3 degrees of freedom; Based on the discrete element method, the screening process of rice particles on the adjustable three degree of freedom vibrating screen plate was simulated and analyzed, and the experiment was carried out on the prototype. The results show that the screening efficiency of three degree of freedom vibration is 8.8% and 33.4% higher than that of two degree of freedom and single degree of freedom vibration respectively, which solves the problems of less degree of freedom, low screening efficiency and unstable screening performance of traditional vibrating screen.…”
