Performance analysis of dual-hop PLC-FSO communication system
Published 2021-10-01“…A dual-hop power line communication and free-space optical communication (PLC-FSO) system was proposed, where an amplify-and-forward (AF) relay was applied to help the signal transmission between the PLC link and the FSO link.More specifically, it was assumed that the PLC link was affected by both additive background noise and impulsive noise, and the channel fading followed log-normal distribution, while the fading induced by the atmospheric turbulence in the FSO link followed a Gamma-Gamma distribution, and the effect of pointing errors was also considered.Based on this model, closed-form expressions for the outage probability, bit error rate, and the channel capacity were derived.In addition, asymptotic analysis for the outage probability and BER, and upper bound expression for the channel capacity were presented.Finally, the accuracy of the analytical results was justified through Monte-Carlo simulations.The results show that the system outage probability decreases as the pointing error parameter increases and the smaller the PLC link impulse noise, the lower the bit error rate.The system capacity increases as the turbulence intensity decreases.…”

Robust algorithm for gain-and-phase errors estimation against the direction deviations of calibration sources
Published 2012-06-01“…The direction deviations of the calibration sources would significantly degrade the calibration accuracy of array gain-and-phase errors.Aiming to this problem,a robust calibration algorithm for gain-and-phase errors against the location deviations was presented under the assumption that the prior probability distribution of the location deviation was known.The idea of the robust algorithm was based on subspace fitting criterion and Bayesian estimation theory framework.The gain-and-phase errors were obtained through calculating the eigenvector associated with the minimum eigenvalue of some real symmetric matrix without estimating the locations of calibration sources.The closed-form Cramér-Rao bound(CRB)for the unknown parameters was derived,and the asymptotic distributions of the robust algorithm as well as the Cheng method were also given in the presence of direction deviations.Both the theory analysis and the simulation experiments validate that the asymptotic performance of the robust algorithm can reach the CRB under some moderate conditions and outperform the Cheng method when the location deviations exist.…”

Analysis of super-long and sparse feature in pseudo-random sequence based on similarity
Published 2016-10-01“…Similarity analysis of pseudo-random sequence in wireless communication networks is a research hotspot problem in the domain of information warfare.Based on the difficulties in super-long sequence,extremely sparse feature,and futilities in engineering application for real-time processing exist in similarity analysis of sequence in wireless net-work,a method of similarity analysis of sequence in a certain margin of misacceptance probability was proposed.Firstly,the similarity probability distribution of real-random sequence was theoretically analyzed.Secondly,according to the standard of NIST SP 800-22,the randomness of pseudo-bitstream was analyzed and the validity of pseudo-bitstream was judged.Finally,similarity was analyzed and verified by combining super-long pseudo-random sequence in real wireless communication networks.The results indicate that the lower bound of similarity value is 0.62 when misacceptance prob-ability uncertainty at about 1%.Above conclusion is considerable importance from the significance and theoretical values in network security domains,such as protocol analysis,traffic analysis,intrusion detection and others.…”
