Asymptotic performance analysis of untrusted relay system with full-duplex jamming destination by Rui ZHAO, Xing TAN, Yuanjian LI, Yucheng HE, Chunguo LI

    Published 2018-09-01
“…The cooperative relay technique in the field of physical layer security is widely concerned by the academic community, due to the advantages of increasing the network capacity and expanding the network coverage. However, cooperative relays may play as untrusted nodes in some certain circumstances.Based on this,to enhance the secrecy performance of untrusted relay systems,a novel full-duplex destination jamming (FDJ) scheme was proposed in the Rayleigh fading channel. In order to maximize the system’s secrecy capacity,a switchable split-optimal antenna selection (OAS) scheme was proposed for a multiple-antenna destination, the power allocation optimization scheme between the source and destination was designed, and the corresponding closed-form expressions of secrecy performance were given. In the large-scale antennas analysis, the closed-form expressions of the ergodic achievable secrecy rate and the optimal power allocation factor of instantaneous secrecy capacity for the FDJ-OAS scheme were derived.Furthermore, based on different asymptotic cases, the asymptotic analyses of secrecy outage probability for the FDJ-OAS scheme were significantly analyzed.Simulation results show that the analytical curves match well with the Monte-Carlo simulation results. It is concluded that the diversity order of the FDJ-OAS scheme is proportional to the number of antennas and antenna diversity can be achieved, which reveals the advantages of the proposed FDJ-OAS scheme.…”

Non-binary modulation-coded scheme for the space two-way relay channels by Lei YANG, Song JIN, Bo-yang CAI, Jian-ping AN

    Published 2014-10-01
“…A non-binary irregular repeat-accumulate (IRA) modulation-coded physical-layer network coding (PNC) scheme was proposed for the space two-way relay channels (TWRC) to improve the information exchange rates of space information networks. In the scheme,a same non-binary IRA modulation code was employed at two users. This configuration enabled the recovery of the network coded information sequence from the superimposed signal directly by the relay. The optimized non-binary IRA modulation code was obtained by using extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) chart analysis.Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can reduce the duration of information exchange by about 48% compared to the conventional time divided multiple access scheme.…”

Beamforming design for energy-constrained full-duplex two-way relaying system by Wei WANG, Liyuan AN, Guoan ZHANG, Shibing ZHANG

    Published 2018-02-01
“…A beamforming design was proposed under simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) protocol.A utility optimization problem was considered aiming to maximize the harvested energy by jointly optimizing the beamforming matrix, the power splitting ratio at the relay and the transmit powers at the sources.Since the formulated joint optimization problem was nonconvex,it was difficult or even intractable to obtain the global optimal solution. To overcome this issue, the objective problem into three subproblems was decoupled which could be solved by the proposed semidefinite relaxation technique and the derived constraints activation solution, respectively. The solution was finally obtained with the proposed convergent iterative algorithm.Simulation results show that the proposed joint optimization scheme achieves the optimal performance.Compared with the traditional half-duplex (HD) algorithm, the proposed algorithm can obtain 2~3 times energy harvesting (EH) efficiency improvement, while the computational complexity increases slightly.…”

Deployment scheme of WSN relay nodes based on artificial bee colony optimization by Kainan LIU, Xu HAN

    Published 2016-09-01
“…In wireless sensor network(WSN),the relay node deployment performance is one of the main factors to affect network life.Aiming at the WSN with 3-demension high density, there is no existing relay node deployment schemes enhancing the network life efficiently with the constraints of hardware cost and network connectivity.Hence,a novel deployment scheme called artificial bee colony(ABC)-based relay node deployment scheme(ABC-RNDS)was proposed based on network-grid deployment method. In ABC-RNDS,double-layer topology was adopted to build WSN,which used minimum spanning tree to construct the backbone nodes of WSN,and applied ABC to extend the network lifetime by optimizing network parameters and constraining the number of relay nodes. The simulation results show that, compared to the traditional deployment scheme,ABC-RNDS can improve network lifetime significantly under constrains of cost and connectivity.…”
