    “…“Choir and orchestra/chamber music performing success interview form” was prepared to be filled in by the instructors of related courses (participants).Research results show that definitional curricula of the choir and orchestra/chamber music courses among the A coded courses in music teaching undergraduate program do focus on performance target; that the students often come to classes unprepared; that they do not show sufficient understanding and rigour for making music together; their grade-oriented view of studying is underlined; their attendance to concerts, festivals etc. is found beneficial in terms of their motivation; and it is emphasized that the level differences between students have a negative effect on making music together and their performing success.In this regard, it is recommended that, being the two most effective components of choir and orchestra/chamber music performing success, the individual instrumental and vocal education courses’ implementation and outcome characteristics would be reviewed along with the effective research results.Keywords: Music teaching, undergraduate program, performance, performing success.…”
