A Graphene/MXene-Modified Flexible Fabric for Infrared Camouflage, Electrothermal, and Electromagnetic Interference Shielding by Xianguang Hou, Ziyi Zang, Yaxin Meng, Tian Wang, Shuai Gao, Qingman Liu, Lijun Qu, Xiansheng Zhang

    Published 2025-01-01
“…When the graphene/MXene-modified fabrics are prepared at loads of 5 and 1.2 mg/cm2, respectively, the modified fabrics have very low infrared emissivity in the 3–5 and 8–14 μm bands, and the surface temperature can be reduced by 53.1 °C when placed on a heater with a temperature of 100 °C (surface radiation temperature of 95 °C). The modified fabric also demonstrates excellent Joule heating capabilities; at 4 V of power, a temperature of 91.7 °C may be reached in 30 s. …”

Predictive modeling and optimization of noise emissions in a palm oil methyl ester-fueled diesel engine using response surface methodology and artificial neural network integrated... by J.M. Zikri, M.S.M. Sani, M.F.F.A. Rashid, J. Muriban, G.S. Prayogo

    Published 2025-03-01
“…This demonstrates a significant enhancement in predictive accuracy using ANN-GA, highlighting its potential as a dependable tool for forecasting noise emissions in biodiesel-powered engines. Specific components, such as the radiator, crankshaft, and crankcase, exhibited minimal prediction errors under ANN-GA, suggesting that this model is particularly adept at capturing the complex noise emission patterns associated with POME-fueled engines. …”

Realizing low voltage-driven bright and stable quantum dot light-emitting diodes through energy landscape flattening by Yiting Liu, Yingying Sun, Xiaohan Yan, Bo Li, Lei Wang, Jianshun Li, Jiahui Sun, Yaqi Guo, Weipeng Liu, Binbin Hu, Qingli Lin, Fengjia Fan, Huaibin Shen

    Published 2025-01-01
“…The higher electron concentration and accelerated hole injection significantly promote the carrier radiative recombination dynamics. Consequently, CdZnSe-based device exhibits a high power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 27.3% and an ultra-low efficiency roll-off, with a high external quantum efficiency (EQE) exceeding 25% over a wide range of low driving voltages (1.8-3.0 V) and low heat generation. …”
