A study on the classification of coastal wetland vegetation based on the Suaeda salsa index and its phenological characteristics
Published 2025-01-01“…In order to demonstrate the efficacy of the constructed vegetation indices, this study employed both the NDVI and the existing Suaeda salsa Vegetation Index (SSVI) to calculate the phenological metrics for classification purposes. The results showed that: (1) The classification results of the phenological metrics using any of the S. salsa indices were significantly better than those of the NDVI, with RSSI being the best, with the accuracy of S. salsa being improved by 10 % for the producers and 30 % for the users, and the overall accuracy being improved by 13 %, the Kappa coefficient increased by 0.19. (2) The results of RSSI(1) and SSVI were more consistent with each other, with the overall accuracy increased by 10 % and the Kappa coefficient increased by 0.14. (3) When the combination of phenological metrics obtained from four vegetation indices was used for classification, the results were slightly better than those of a single vegetation index, with the overall accuracy increasing by 2 % and the Kappa coefficient increasing by 0.03. …”

Genetic Factors and the Risk of Periodontitis Development: Findings from a Systematic Review Composed of 13 Studies of Meta-Analysis with 71,531 Participants
Published 2017-01-01“…Three examiners extracted data from articles with a clear association between polymorphisms in the inflammatory mediator gene and the development of periodontitis through meta-analysis using the fixed or randomized statistical models to calculate the Odds Ratio with values of P<0.05 considered significant. Results. A total of 13 meta-analysis articles with 25 polymorphisms in seven interleukins (IL-1A, IL-1B, IL-4, IL-6, IL-8, IL-10, and IL-18), three cellular receptors (Fcγ receptors: FCGR2A, FCGR3A, and FCGR3B), and five inflammatory mediators (COX-2, MMP-2, MMP-3, MMP-8, and MMP-9), with a total of 71,531 participants, approaching different classifications of the disease. …”

A novel ViT-BILSTM model for physical activity intensity classification in adults using gravity-based acceleration
Published 2025-02-01“…ANOVA showed no significant accuracy variation across PAIs (F = 2.18, p = 0.13) and TW (F = 0.52, p = 0.72). Accuracy and loss curves show the model consistently improves its performance across epochs, demonstrating its excellent robustness. …”

A Standardized Classification Scheme for Gastroduodenal Disorder Evaluation Using the Gastric Alimetry System: Prospective Cohort Study
Published 2025-01-01“…Studies have demonstrated a range of distinct pathophysiological profiles, and a classification scheme is now required. We used Gastric Alimetry spectral and symptom profiles to develop a mechanism-based test classification scheme, then assessed correlations with symptom severity, psychometrics, and quality of life. …”

The impact of integrated genomic analysis on molecular classifications and prognostic risk stratification in endometrial cancer: a Chinese experience
Published 2025-02-01“…BackgroundThe molecular classification of endometrial cancer (EC), as proposed by The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), has transformed tumor classification, but there is a lack of extensive research on the molecular profiles and subtyping of endometrial cancer patients in China.Methods200 EC patients were classified into the following four molecular types: (i) POLEmut; (ii) MSI-H; (iii) TP53mut; (iv) NSMP. …”
