Effects of Furrow Irrigation on the Growth, Production, and Water Use Efficiency of Direct Sowing Rice
Published 2010-01-01“…The improved WUE in the FI system is attributed to (1) a significant reduction of irrigation rate, seepage, evaporation, and evapotranspiration; (2) a significant reduction in the reduced materials, such as ferrous ion (Fe2+), and therefore an increase in the vitality of the root system, evident by the increases in the number of white roots by 32.62%, and decreases in the number of black roots by 20.04% and yellow roots by 12.58%; the use of the FI system may also reduce humidity of the rice field and enhance gas transport in the soil and light penetration, which led to reduced rice diseases and increased leaf vitality; and (3) increases in tiller and effective spikes by 11.53% and the weight per thousand grains by 1.0 g. …”

Pressure-Predicting Model for Ultralow-Permeability Reservoirs considering the Water Absorption Characteristics of Mudstone Formations
Published 2020-01-01“…The experimental results show that the saturation water absorption rate of mudstone is 1.54-2.55%, and the water absorption process of mudstone cannot be described by the seepage equation of sandstone. The verification results of the numerical simulation show that the pressure of the transition layers and mudstone at the end of the water well gradually increases, while the pressure at the end of the oil well basically remains unchanged, which is consistent with the assumptions of the model. …”

Investigation on the Fracturing Permeability Characteristics of Cracked Specimens and the Formation Mechanism of Inrush Channel from Floor
Published 2021-01-01“…The crack propagation was mainly concentrated at the postpeak stage of the complete stress-strain curve, causing the peak of seepage velocity to lag behind the stress peak. For the case with a constant confining pressure, the rate of crack initiation and propagation to final failure was positively correlated with the internal pore pressure. …”

Utilization Of Palm Palm Industry Liquid Waste For Palm Oil Plantation Land Applications
Published 2024-10-01“…Water quality standards in monitoring wells in gardens are based on PP No. 82 of 2001 Class II, BOD-5 and Total Nitrogen do not meet quality standards, but at the resident monitoring well location almost all parameters tested meet quality standards, COD is smaller and even oil and fat are not detected and the Total Nitrogen content is only 2.38 mg/l which has met the requirements. Waste seepage into residents' wells is not significant; (3). …”
