Research on multi-UAV energy consumption optimization algorithm for cellular-connected network
Published 2023-02-01“…In complex time-varying environment, the ground base station (GBS) may not assist the UAV.Therefore, a mobile edge computing (MEC) cellular-connected network based on digital twin (DT) technology was studied.Given the efficiency of multi-UAV, multiple high-altitude balloon (HAB) equipped with MEC servers were introduced.On this basis, an energy minimization problem for all UAV was proposed, and a multi-UAV trajectory optimization and resource allocation scheme was presented to solve it.The double deep Q-network (DDQN) was applied to handle the association between multi-UAV and multi-HAB, and the multi-UAV trajectory and computing resource allocation were jointly optimized by the successive convex approximation (SCA) and the block coordinate descent (BCD).Simulation experiments verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.The system energy consumption is reduced by 30%, better than the comparison algorithms.…”

Research on multi-bit decoding algorithms for polar codes
Published 2018-11-01“…Aiming at the problem of high delay of successive cancellation lists (SCL) decoding algorithm for polar codes,a multi-bit SCL (MSCL) decoding algorithm based on log-likelihood ratio was proposed.The multiple codeword bits could be decoded simultaneously at a single decision time.Without loss of SCL decoding performance,the decoding delay was reduced from 3N-2 clocks to 4N/M-2 clocks.Compared with the existing multi-bit SCL decoding algorithm,the MSCL decoding algorithm had a lower complexity of the path metric calculation.In order to reduce the decoding delay and memory space of the cyclical redundancy check (CRC) assisted SCL (CA-SCL) decoding algorithm,a segmented CRC assisted MSCL (SCA-MSCL) decoding algorithm was proposed,and a segmentation information codeword length correction algorithm was proposed.By adjusting the length of the relevant segment,the information bit index set A was guaranteed.Under the same premise,the corresponding information bit index at the end of each segment could be divisible by M.The SCA-MSCL algorithm could output decoded code words as early as possible by using multiple CRC decisions,thereby reducing the decoder’s storage space and decoding delay.…”

Resource allocation algorithm for intelligent reflecting surface-aided SWIPT networks
Published 2022-02-01“…In order to achieve the efficient interconnection of everything, under the limitations of terminal devices’ batteries and network coverage, the intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) technology was introduced to build a new IRS-aided simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) network.To further improve the total throughput of the network, a resource allocation (RA) scheme aiming at sum-rate maximization was proposed.Considering that the constraints of the maximum transmit power of a base station, the minimum energy requirement of each device and the phase shifts on an IRS, a joint transmit beamforming, power splitting (PS) ratio and phase shift optimization problem was formulated.Due to the non-convex problem and coupled variables, a block coordinate descent (BCD)-based algorithm was proposed.Then, the joint transmit beam forming design, PS ratio optimization and phase shift design were solved by using the successive convex approximation (SCA) and Riemannian manifold methods, respectively.Simulation results show that the proposed RA scheme performs better than the existing RA schemes in terms of sum-rate.…”

Energy efficiency optimization algorithm for heterogeneous NOMA network based on imperfect CSI

Robust transmission algorithm for IRS-assisted NOMA network with hardware impairments and imperfect CSI
Published 2024-03-01“…To improve the robustness and reduce the energy consumption of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) networks, based on hardware impairments (HWI) of transceiver and non-perfect channel state information (CSI), an intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) assisted transmission power minimization algorithm for NOMA networks was proposed.The joint optimization problem of active beam assignment at the base station and passive beam assignment at the IRS was modeled based on HWI and non-perfect CSI.The system considered the user quality of service (QoS) constraint, the serial interference cancellation constraint and the reflection phase shift constraint of the IRS.To solve this nonconvex optimization problem, the QoS constraints were firstly transformed using linear approximation and S-Procedure methods.Then the optimization problem was decomposed into two subproblems.The active beam assignment subproblem was solved using the successive convex approximation (SCA) method.The passive beam assignment subproblem was solved using the penalized convex-concave process algorithm.Finally, the final solution was obtained by iterating the subproblems alternately using alternating optimization.The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm reduces 17.05% compared to the or thogonal multiple access robust algorithm in terms of transmitted power.In terms of system robustness, the proposed algorithm improves by 20.69% and 31.14% compared to the HWI robust algorithm and the CSI robust algorithm, respectively.…”
