Capacity analysis for MISO-UWOC systems over GGD weak turbulence with zero boresight pointing error by Yueheng LI, Yining XU, Meiyan JU, Ping HUANG

    Published 2023-08-01
“…Generalized Gamma distribution (GGD) was chosen to describe the weak oceanic turbulence, and a new hybrid fading channel model that integrated the GGD weak turbulence, the zero boresight pointing error, and the implicit path loss plus multipath propagation characterized by the fading free impulse response (FFIR) was proposed.Subsequently, mathematical expressions for the ergodic capacity and outage capacity of the multiple-input single-output underwater wireless optical communication (MISO-UWOC) systems were derived through the Meijer-G function under a selective transmission (ST) diversity scheme especially while inter-symbol interference (ISI) effects were considered or not. Finally, the correctness of the theoretical formulas derived above was verified by some numerical results. The simulation results show that with the introduction of the ST diversity, the ergodic capacity of the MISO-UWOC systems, taking the transmission ports N=2 as an example, is at least 1.3 times better than that of the conventional point-to-point (P2P) transmission under the same channel condition and system parameters, while the maximum outage capacity decreases is also more than 60% compared with the conventional P2P one. However, the introduction of the ISI will severely reduce this performance improvement.…”

STUDY ON STEADY-STATE TEMPERATURE FIELD OF THE MESHING PAIR OF TWO-TOOTH DIFFERENCE SWING-ROD MOVABLE TOOTH DRIVE by YI YaLi, JI YaMeng, GUO Hui, JIN HeRong

    Published 2018-01-01
“…Based on the basic theory of heat transfer and tribology, the calculation formulas of the friction heat flux density of meshing pair, the meshing tooth surface and the end face convective heat transfer coefficient with two-tooth difference swing-rod movable tooth drive are derived under the slip condition.A finite element model of the thermal analysis of the gear meshing pair is established, and the steady-state temperature field of the meshing pair under thermal balance state is calculated and analyzed by using the ANSYS finite element software.Combined with numerical simulation results, the influence of tooth profile design parameters on the temperature field is revealed. The result shows that:the steady-state temperature field of the meshing pair is determined collectively by the heat flux of the contact zone and the convection heat transfer coefficient of each surface.Because the temperature rise of sliding friction is larger, the maximum temperature appears in the center of the gear meshing face width of the center, the radius of the base circle radius has a great influence on the body temperature of the meshing surface, and the swing rod length is less affected. The research results lay the foundation for the study of the thermal deformation and thermal mechanical coupling characteristics of the meshing pair,so as to guide the dynamic design of the two-tooth difference swing-rod movable tooth drive.…”

    内啮合齿轮泵隔离装置的平衡 by 郭善新, 余广炽, 关翔锋

    Published 2021-01-01
“…In order to achieve a higher volumetric efficiency of an internal gear pump at higher pressures,a new isolation device with a compensating function in the diameter direction was developed. The device used a technical method of expanding high pressure chamber inside the pump.In order to obtain a better balance for the isolation device, according to the pressure distribution law of the transition zone, the calculation formulas of hydraulic pressure, the compensation force and the supporting force of the crescent block in the transition zone of the crescent block were derived, and then the equilibrium constraints of the device were established. The transition zone was enlarged until only two gear teeth. As an example, the fmincon tool was used to obtain the optimum center angle of the compensation cavity, and the force changes curve was obtained by MATLAB simulation. When an internal gear pump with a theoretical displacement of 50.8 ml/r was carried out under the condition of input pressure of 0.3 MPa,output pressure of 21.8 MPa,at 50℃ ±4℃,and the results show that the volumetric efficiency can reachs 94.3%.No abnormal wear was observed.…”
