Performance analytic model and method for CCF multi-channel mechanism
Published 2009-01-01“…According to the characteristics of common channel framework(CCF) multi-channel mechanism of 802.11s draft,a performance analytic model and method were proposed.Considering two states of assigning or no assigning common channel to transmit data existed in CCF,two performance analytic models based on common channel were proposed and throughput formulas were deduced,furthermore condition of state transition was presented.There were four parameters,such as data rate,payload,number of channels and number of stations,participating in the simulation of throughput.The simulation result shows that with increasing of data rate,increasing of number of stations and/or decreasing of payload,the number of channels needed decreases as state of assigning common channel transiting to state of no assigning common channel,and then the throughput of CCF reaches the maximum.…”

Acceleration Frequency Characteristics of the Freight-Train-Induced Vibration of the Beijing-Harbin Railway Subgrade
Published 2020-01-01“…The vibration acceleration during a freezing period was monitored in the Beijing-Harbin railway subgrade, and its frequency characteristics were studied. The results show the following. (1) The vibration acceleration frequency of the railway subgrade was divided into three main bands: the first frequency band is caused by the vehicle wheelbase, the second frequency band is caused by the sleeper spacing, and the third frequency band is mainly affected by the track irregularity spectrum and site structure. (2) The fitted dominant frequency, as can be seen from the monitored results, is in good agreement with the calculated value from the vibration frequency calculation formulas. (3) From the monitoring, it can be seen that train type, traveling speed, and train formation have a significant influence on the dominant frequencies of the first and second bands. …”

A New Buckling-Restrained Brace with a Variable Cross-Section Core
Published 2019-01-01“…Six specimens are designed and tested to clarify the mechanical behaviours of the BRB-VCC and to validate the reliability of the proposed equations. The test results show that (1) none of the specimens buckle under compression, as expected, and their ductilities and energy dissipation capacities are satisfactory; (2) the derived formulas are reliable and can be conveniently used in engineering practice; and (3) the yielding displacement of the BRB-VCC is approximately 70% that of the traditional TJ-1 buckling-restrained brace (BRB-TJ-1), which may yield earlier than the BRB-TJ-1 in concrete structures under the action of an earthquake.…”
