Protocol of a randomized, single-blind, controlled trial of an 18-month, home-based, high-intensity, exercise intervention in older, cognitively unimpaired APOE ε4 carriers
Published 2025-05-01“…Primary outcomes are VO2peak (Fitness), 5-trial total recall on the Rey Auditory Verbal List Learning Test (Episodic Memory), and total hippocampal volume derived from structural MRI (Brain Atrophy). Secondary outcomes include comprehensive neurocognitive and physical function test batteries, MRI scans including structural and functional connectivity measures, and blood-based biomarkers.HypothesesOver an 18-month interval, physically inactive ε4 carriers who engage in high-intensity aerobic exercise will demonstrate less cognitive decline and hippocampal atrophy than physically inactive ε4 carriers who did not participate in a formal exercise program.ConclusionSuccessful demonstration of a scalable, home-based, high-intensity aerobic exercise intervention in altering the trajectory of AD pathophysiology and its effects on cognitive functioning will transform AD treatment, improve patient outcomes and quality of life, and reduce healthcare costs.…”

Investigating the mediating role of self-efficacy on work stress and job insecurity among Indonesian startup employees
Published 2025-07-01“…Data were collected from 262 digital startup employees in Jakarta using an online survey at the beginning of 2024 and analyzed using covariance-based structural equation modeling with LISREL software. The findings suggest that work stress does not directly influence job insecurity (T-value of 0.79 < 1.967), indicating that startup employees may perceive stress as a regular aspect of their dynamic and high-pressure work environment. …”

The Quantum chemical substantiation of the enrichment of dairy products with selenium-containing nanoscale systems
Published 2024-09-01“…The main parameters analyzed were the difference in the total energy of the amino acid sequence in the C-terminal section of the K-casein with the total energy of the interaction of the selenium atom with a given molecular structure (∆E), as well as chemical rigidity (η). As a result, it was found that the enrichment of dairy products with selenium-containing nanoscale systems is energetically advantageous (∆E ≥ 2399.650 kcal/mol) and chemically stable (0.053 ≤ η ≤ 0.070 eV), and the optimal interaction configuration is the connection of a selenium atom with the C-terminal site of Kcasein through the hydroxyl group of serine bound by a peptide bond with glutamic acid (∆E = 2400.139 kcal/mol, η = 0.070 eV).…”
