Utilization of shrimp head powder to enhance color performance and growth of multicolor betta fish (Betta splendens)
Published 2025-05-01“…The research procedure included the preparation of shrimp head meal, mixing feed with TKU, fish rearing, and observation of changes in color brightness, weight and length growth, survival rate, and water quality. The results showed that the utilization of shrimp head meal supplemented into the feed improved the performance of brightness and color patterns in multi-colored cupang fish, including length gain during the treatment, with optimum results shown in the 10% TKU treatment.…”

Time-varying spectral power of resting-state fMRI networks reveal cross-frequency dependence in dynamic connectivity.
Published 2017-01-01“…Despite high spatial resolution, functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) suffers from low temporal resolution due to modulation with slow-varying hemodynamic response function (HRF) and also relatively low sampling rate. This limits the range of detectable frequency bands in fMRI and consequently there has been no evidence of cross-frequency dependence in fMRI data. …”

New perspectives under heterogeneity: mechanism of nutrient heterogeneity on Cd-induced hormesis of soil respiration
Published 2025-08-01“…To examine the effects of nutrient spatial heterogeneity on the hormesis of soil ecosystem under cadmium (Cd) stress, we constructed three patches with different spatial nutrient distribution but the same total nutrient content through different spatial discharge patterns. Different levels of Cd stress were applied to the patches, and after incubation, soil respiration rate, content of dissolved organic matter (DOM) and metagenomic characteristics were measured. …”

Independent and joint impacts of high body mass index and aging on global burden of chronic kidney disease: insights from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021
Published 2025-07-01“…IntroductionWe aimed to evaluate the levels and trends of CKD burden associated with high body mass index (BMI) from 1990 to 2021 and to investigate the role of aging.MethodsFrom the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021, we retrieved data and estimated CKD-related deaths, disability-adjusted life years (DALYs), age-standardized mortality rate (ASMR), and age-standardized DALYs rate (ASDR) attributable to high BMI by age, sex, socio-demographic index (SDI), and geographical regions. …”

The role of vascularity and the fibrovascular interface in interstitial lung diseases
Published 2025-02-01“…Currently, therapeutic approaches based on specific structural targeting of pulmonary fibrosis are limited to nintedanib and pirfenidone, which can only slow down disease progression leading to a lower mortality rate. Lung transplantation is currently the only available curative treatment, but it is associated with high perioperative mortality. …”
