Parameters of the oxidative-reduction system of the homeostasis in female transplant patients with tumors of the reproductive system treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy
Published 2019-12-01“…Currently, the number of studies on the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the post-transplant period in humans is growing. The need in investigating the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the postoperative period in female transplant patient with tumors of the reproductive system is dictated by time. The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen therapy in the complex treatment of transplant patients at an early stage of the postoperative period.Material and methods. …”

Tea Polyphenols Mitigate Radiation-Induced Ferroptosis and Intestinal Injury by Targeting the Nrf2/HO-1/GPX4 Signaling Pathway
Published 2025-05-01“…In addition, TP treatment lowered the elevation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), iron imbalance, mitochondrial damage, and ferroptosis in IEC-6 cells post-irradiation. Utilizing network pharmacology, molecular docking, and affinity testing, we identified that TP has the capability to target the Nrf2/HO-1/GPX4 signaling pathway, while EGCG, a principal constituent of TP, interacts with HSP90 and mitigates radiation-induced ferroptosis. …”

Enrichment of decidual CD11c + CD8 + T cells with altered immune function in early pregnancy loss
Published 2025-07-01“…Furthermore, we present an effective early prediction model for EPL, based on cytokine and cytotoxic molecule profiles of CD11c + CD8 + T cells in maternal serum, collected 12-16 days post-embryo transfer. Functional assays reveal that IFN-γ triggers trophoblast pyroptosis via the NLRP3/Caspase-1/GSDMD pathway, impairing trophoblast invasion. …”

Longitudinal multi-omics in alpha-synuclein Drosophila model discriminates disease- from age-associated pathologies in Parkinson’s disease
Published 2025-03-01“…To identify molecular changes early in the disease course and distinguish PD pathologies from aging, we generated Drosophila expressing alpha-synuclein (αSyn) in neurons and performed longitudinal bulk transcriptomics and proteomics on brains at six time points across the lifespan and compared the data to healthy control flies as well as human post-mortem brain datasets. We found that translational and energy metabolism pathways were downregulated in αSyn flies at the earliest timepoints; comparison with the aged control flies suggests that elevated αSyn accelerates changes associated with normal aging. …”
