Partial Order Ranking of the Key Drivers of Grassland Conversion in the Urban–Grassland Interface: A Case Study of the Hohhot–Baotou–Ordos Region
Published 2025-05-01“…The results show that (1) transitions between grasslands and other land-use types became more frequent across the two periods. Specifically, the rates of grassland conversion out and conversion increased from 2.1% and 3.5% during the period 2000–2010 to 4.7% and 4.8% during the period 2010–2020, respectively. (2) Urbanization was the primary driver of grassland conversion in 11 and 10 of the 18 counties during the first and second periods, respectively, followed by factors related to weather variables. (3) In the future, the eastern region of the study area needs to prioritize mitigating the impacts of urban development, while the western region should focus on enhancing ecological construction projects. …”

Impact of the agri-geographical transformation of rural settlements on the geospatial dynamics of soil erosion intensity in municipalities of Central Serbia
Published 2025-08-01“…Cluster analysis (CA) was used to differentiate rural areas of municipalities based on selected indicators. The highest rates of soil erosion intensity reduction were found in the regressive and dominantly regressive types (average specific gross erosion 1971: Ws1 = 980 m3/km2/year; 2011: Ws2 = 587 m3/km2/year). …”

In silico and in vitro assessment of TP53, ATM, RAD51, and BAX genes in gastric cancer and their contribution to radiotherapy resistance
Published 2025-07-01“…Mutational analysis showed that TP53 was altered in 88% of gastric cancer samples, while ATM, RAD51, and BAX exhibited lower mutation rates. Survival analysis suggested that elevated expression of TP53, RAD51, and BAX may be linked to poorer survival outcomes, while reduced ATM expression appeared to associate with decreased overall survival. …”

Decoding stimulus-specific regulation of promoter activity of p53 target genes
Published 2025-06-01“…Indeed, stimulus-specific stochastic gene expression is predominantly regulated by promoter activation and deactivation rates. Interestingly, we found that in many situations, transcriptional activity was uncoupled from the total amount of p53 and the fraction bound to DNA, highlighting that transcriptional regulation by p53 is a multi-dimensional process. …”
