RETRACTED ARTICLE: Comprehensive investigations of mixed convection of Fe–ethylene-glycol nanofluid inside an enclosure with different obstacles using lattice Boltzmann method
Published 2021-10-01“…A change in the attack angle of the enclosure leads to changes in the movement distance for fluid between hot and cold sources and passing fluid through case E, which affects the flow pattern strongly. In each attack angle, on colliding with an obstacle, the fluid heat transfers between two sources, which leads to uniform heat transfer in the enclosure. …”

Dynamic relationship among China's economic development, food safety and health production from a global perspective
Published 2025-07-01“…Such a model is essential to gain deeper insights into the complex interplay among economic development, food safety, and health production.MethodsUsing panel data from 30 provinces in China (2017–2020), we integrated economic development, food safety, and health production into a unified efficiency assessment framework.ResultsOur findings reveal that China's overall efficiency is low (0.504), with significant regional heterogeneity, presenting a pattern of high in the east and low in the west; the efficiency of economic development (0.288) significantly lags behind the efficiency of health production (0.694); and the efficiency of food safety risk control is weak (the efficiency of food inspection failure rate, the number of foodborne illness incidents and patients are 0.694, 0.368, and 0.428, respectively).DiscussionThe DNSBM model breaks through the limitations of traditional static analysis and provides a dynamic assessment tool for emerging economies to reconcile the contradiction of “economic growth resource consumption public health”. …”

Lurie Control Systems Applied to the Sudden Cardiac Death Problem Based on Chua Circuit Dynamics
Published 2025-04-01“…Studies indicate that the “V-trough” pattern in sympathetic nerve activity (SNA) could act as an early indicator of potentially fatal cardiac events, which can be effectively modeled using a modified version of Chua’s chaotic system, incorporating the variables of heart rate (HR), SNA, and blood pressure (BP). …”

Carbon Lock-In Mechanisms in Transport Infrastructure and Temporal Spatial Dynamics
Published 2025-05-01“…The key findings are as follows: (1) temporally, the composite path dependence index (PDI) increased from 0.13 to 0.24, with an average annual growth rate of 5.7%, although the growth trend exhibited noticeable fluctuations. (2) Spatially, a clear “East-High–West-Low, South-High–North-Low” pattern is observed, with the eastern region exhibiting a PDI approximately 29% higher than that of the northeastern region—mainly due to differences in economic vitality and the degree of policy intervention. (3) Threshold nonlinearity is evident: the influence of key factors on carbon path dependence varies across quantiles, and a critical threshold appears at the 0.9 quantile. …”

Comparative analysis of soil thermal conductivity in the permafrost regions of the Qinghai–Tibetan Plateau and the Arctic
Published 2025-08-01“…The mean STC values in the QTP permafrost region during the thawing period are significantly higher than those during the freezing period. (2) STC of the QTP exhibits a fluctuating pattern at different depths, in contrast, the average STC value in the Arctic increases steadily with depth, with an increase rate of approximately 0.005 Wm−1 K−1/cm. (3) The analysis of influencing factors revealed that although moisture content, bulk density, and porosity are the primary drivers of regional variations in STC between the QTP and the Arctic permafrost, moisture elements in the QTP region have a greater influence on STC and the effect is stronger with increasing depth and during the freeze–thaw cycles. …”

l-[5-11C]Glutamine PET imaging noninvasively tracks dynamic responses of glutaminolysis in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis
Published 2025-02-01“…Here, we developed a positron emission tomography (PET) imaging platform using l-[5-11C]glutamine ([11C]Gln) and evaluated its efficacy in NASH mice undergoing metabolic therapy with bis-2-(5-phenylacetamido-1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)ethyl sulfide (BPTES), a glutaminase 1 (GLS1) inhibitor that intervenes in the first and rate-limiting step of glutaminolysis. PET imaging with [11C]Gln effectively delineated the pharmacokinetics of l-glutamine, capturing its temporal-spatial pattern of action within the body. …”

Spatiotemporal Evolution of NPP and Its Influencing Factors in Kunming City Based on the OPGD Model
Published 2025-04-01“…[Results] 1) The annual mean distribution of vegetation NPP in Kunming City was spatially and temporally heterogeneous, with a distribution pattern higher in the west and lower in the east, and increased significantly at an average annual growth rate of 7.08 g/(m2·a) (C-based). 2) The fragmentation degree of the vegetation landscape increased; the fragmentation degree was mismatched with vegetation NPP in terms of space, and it had a significant negative effect on the spatial and temporal distribution of vegetation NPP. 3) Changes in vegetation NPP were the result of the combined effects of climatic, anthropogenic and topographic factors; the kernel Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (kNDVI), land surface temperature, and vegetation landscape fragmentation had stronger explanatory power than factors such as temperature, precipitation, and slope; and the interactions between the factors better explained the spatial and temporal changes in vegetation NPP. …”
