Mode matters: exploring how modes of cannabis administration affect THC plasma concentrations and subjective effects
Published 2025-05-01“…Abstract As cannabis products become increasingly accessible and novel modes of administration like dabbing and vaping gain popularity, understanding how these modes impact use experiences and abuse liability is crucial. Existing studies primarily utilized laboratory settings with lower-potency research-grade cannabis, failing to capture common modes among individuals who use higher-potency legal market products. …”

Local ligand concentration gradients induced by the plasma membrane
Published 2025-07-01“…In the current manuscript, we quantitatively measured the concentration of epidermal growth factor (EGF) at the cell membrane and found that ligand distribution is non-homogeneous due to two concentration peaks causing significantly higher EGF concentrations at the membrane than in the bulk solution. Using experiments, calculations, and simulations, we show that the membrane-proximal peak is caused by membrane turnover, while the more distant one, only present in ErbB2-expressing cells, is generated by locally hindered diffusion possibly caused by the extracellular matrix. …”

Insect Detection Using mm-Waves: Integrated Communication and Biodiversity Sensing Based on Micro-Doppler Effects
Published 2025-01-01“…Here we study the feasibility of insect sensing from a joint waveform from a near-field continuous-wave micro-Doppler radar and a digitally modulated signal at mm-Wave frequencies. We use experiments to capture reflected signals from live insects, and introduce a semi-supervised algorithm that automatically detects signal portions exhibiting micro-Doppler effects of wing flapping. …”

Conclusion of energy service contracts and the possibility of their implementation in Russia
Published 2022-05-01“…The Russian experience of concluding these contracts differs from the practice of foreign states, unlike our country, energy service contracts have been studied there, which is why it is proposed to introduce foreign use experience, with the help of state bodies, as one of the possible solutions to existing problems in this area. …”

Dual-omics strategy for selecting optimal fermentation strains in traditional koumiss production
Published 2025-04-01“…The results showed that: (1) The dominant species in koumiss were mainly Lactobacillus and Lactococcus, and metabolites such as arachidonic acid and ascorbic acid were significantly enriched in koumiss. (2) There was a significant correlation between specific microbial species and metabolites. (3) Through preliminary screening using experiments such as milk-based curdling experiments and acid resistance tests, and then rescreening through fermentation tests, five strains with excellent fermentation characteristics were screened out. …”

TIGAR regulated by HPV E6 is correlated with disease stage, drug sensitivity, and immune microenvironment in cervical cancer
Published 2025-07-01“…We observed that TIGAR expression was upregulated in cervical cancer cells and tissues using experiments and bioinformatics analyses. Moreover, elevated TIGAR expression was associated with poor prognosis using Kaplan–Meier survival analysis, and its diagnostic value was confirmed using the Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. …”
