D2D data collaboration forwarding mechanism based on contract theory
Published 2018-10-01“…A contract theory-based D2D data forwarding mechanism was proposed for device-to-device (D2D) communications under cellular networks.Firstly, considering the selfishness of users,a model of principal-agent was constructed, which regarded the transmitter user as principal and the idle user as agent. Then, the utility function of the contract was used to construct the optimization problem with the constraint condition.Meanwhile, the utility function of the two sides was converted into the satisfaction degree of the two sides of the contract. Finally, the stable matching with the minimum weight was constructed to obtain the optimal contract solution. The simulation results show that the proposed mechanism can better encourage the idle user to participate in collaborative communication so as to enhance the user’s degree of satisfaction and throughput.…”

Published 2021-01-01“…In order to improve the performance of hybrid precoding scheme based on fully connected structure in millimeter-wave massive MIMO system, a hybrid precoding scheme based on an equivalent channel with two-step design method was proposed.Firstly, the equivalent channel was constructed by combining the analog precoding matrix at the transmitter, the analog combining matrix and the channel matrix at the receiver, and the analog part of the transceiver was designed to maximize the equivalent channel gain.Furthermore, the least squares criterion was applied to derive the digital precoding matrix and the digital combination matrix column by column to design the digital part of the transceiver.Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can approximate the optimal digital precoding scheme and has lower complexity and stronger fault tolerance.…”

Age of information-oriented sampling and power control in vehicular status update networks
Published 2024-03-01“…In a vehicular status update network based on broadcast communication, a D/Geo/1/1 queuing mechanism with minimum timestamp priority was adopted to transmit data packets. The queuing theory was used to analyze the age-ofinformation (AoI) outage probability of the receivers and the average transmit power of the transmitter.Based on the monotonicity of the AoI outage probability with respect to packet sampling rate and transmit power, an iterative algorithm for jointly optimizing sampling rate and transmit power was proposed to minimize the maximum AoI outage probability of all receivers under power constraint, which fairly improved information freshness of all receivers under sampling and power control.Simulation results verify the accuracy of theoretical analysis and the efficiency of the algorithm.…”

Res-DNN based signal detection algorithm for end-to-end MIMO systems
Published 2022-03-01“…Deep learning can improve the effect of signal detection by extracting the inherent characteristics of wireless communication data.To solve the tradeoff between the performance and complexity of MIMO system signal detection, an end-to-end MIMO system signal detection scheme based on deep learning was proposed. The encoder and the decoder based on residual deep neural network replace the transmitter and the receiver of the wireless communication system respectively, and they were trained in an end-to-end manner as a whole.Firstly, the features of the input data were extracted by encoder, then the communication model was established and was sent to the zero forcing detector for preliminary detection. Finally, the detection signal was reconstructed through the decoder.Simulation results show that the proposed detection scheme is superior to the same type of algorithm, and the detection performance is significantly better than that of the MMSE detection algorithm at the expense of a certain time complexity.…”

Semantic communication system with efficient integration of global and local context features
Published 2023-07-01“…A communication system based on extended contextual semantic features was proposed by using an end-to-end integrated design method based on deep learning.Unlike existing research that focused only on local context while neglecting global context, the proposed system integrated both local and global contextual knowledge, semantic encoding and decoding was utilized by extended contextual knowledge, thereby enhancing the reliability of the semantic communication system. At the transmitter, efficient semantic representation was achieved through extended contextual semantic encoding. At the receiver, the accuracy of semantic inference was improved by combining mechanisms such as historical communication text mining, contextual semantic feature learning, and heuristic graph-based decoding strategy. When comparing with the traditional communication system and the existing semantic communication systems, simulation results demonstrate that the proposed system significantly improves the reliability of the communication system under low signal-to-noise ratio.…”

Physical layer security performance of SWIPT system in the presence of randomly located eavesdroppers
Published 2020-05-01“…The locations of the eavesdroppers have serious impact on the physical layer security performance of simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) systems with transmit antenna selection (TAS) and power split (PS) strategy, which can be considered to be modeled as Poisson point process (PPP).The closed-form expressions for secrecy outage probability (SOP) of SWIPT system with TAS and PS strategy under non-colluding and colluding eavesdropping scenarios were derived by using probability generation function of PPP,respectively.Numerical and simulation results show that, the larger the number of transmit antennas, the smaller the distance between the transmitter and the information receiver, and the smaller the PS factor, the smaller SOP of SWIPT system under non-colluding and colluding eavesdropping scenarios.Colluding eavesdropping will further deteriorate the physical layer security performance of SWIPT systems.…”

Performance enhancement scheme for IRS-assisted cognitive backscatter communication network
Published 2021-12-01“…In order to achieve the self-sustainable cognitive radio network (CRN) and improve its communication efficiency, an efficient multi-mode switching scheme assisted by the intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) for the overlay scenario was proposed. In particular, the secondary transmitter (ST) could work in either backscatter communication (BackCom) mode or harvest-then-transmit (HTT) mode. The IRS was exploited to enhance the energy harvesting, information backscattering, and information transmission efficiencies at the ST.To maximize the system sum-rate, an optimization problem about the phase shirts at the IRS, time scheduling, and power allocation was formulated.Since the formulated problem was non-convex, an efficient block coordinate descent (BCD) based algorithm was proposed to achieve the sub-optimal solution.Simulation results confirm that the proposed scheme can achieve up to 200% sum-rate gain over the benchmark schemes.…”

Confidential communications technique based on message block precoder in multi-user MIMO systems
Published 2012-03-01“…For confidential communications in a multi-user MIMO wiretap channel, though no information regarding the illegitimate receiver was presumed at the transmitter,an artificial interference and a precoding technique based on message block were proposed.Except for confidentiality, the effectivity and efficiency of confidential communications were also taken into consideration. The artificial interference selectively degraded the passive illegitimate receiver’ signal while did not effect every legitimate receiver. The precoding technique combined the existed zero-forcing method that used to eliminate the multi-user interference with singular value decomposition (SVD)-based linear precoder so that enhances the efficiency of confidential communications.ulation result shows that this precoding method degrades the illegitimate receiver’ signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) even more and enhances the capacity of multi-user MIMO system compared with the precoding method based on single message symbol.…”

Published 2017-03-01“…In the future heterogeneous wireless networks, since primary user (PU) and cognitive secondary user (SU) are not coordinated to be synchronous,it will result in sense timing difference between PU’s transmitter and SU’s receiver. For this asynchronous sense case,a new asynchronous sensing algorithm based on Bayesian estimation theory was proposed.A unified dynamic state space model was first proposed to describe the observable energy relationship with dynamic PU state and unknown timing difference. Then,an iterative estimation scheme was designed using stochastic finite set and the rules of maximum posterior probability. Finally, approximated estimation results were obtained by using a particle filter. The simulation results show that the proposed asynchronous scheme significantly eliminates the uncertainty of the received signal information and thus improves the spectrum sensing performance by obtaining the time difference accurately.…”
