Published 2024-01-01“…The adverse effects of seepage will increase the dam failure risk, and applying machine learning to accurate seepage prediction is crucial to dam safety and stability.This paper reviews the application, challenges, and solutions of machine learning in dam seepage prediction.Machine learning can not only predict the seepage behavior of dams but also identify some key parameters such as dam permeability coefficient and groundwater level in seepage prediction.Artificial neural networks, support vector machines, and decision trees have been widely employed in seepage prediction of dams.Integrated algorithms greatly improve prediction accuracy by integrating the advantages of multiple algorithms.Machine learning models still have many shortcomings in data quantity and quality, model interpretability, complexity, scalability, deployment, and implementation.Future research directions include developing advanced machine learning algorithms, creating physics data dual-drive models and interpretable models, and enhancing experimental testing and validation.The relevant achievements can provide references for studying dam seepage prediction based on machine learning models.…”

Research on cross-domain trustable blockchain based decentralized DNS architecture
Published 2020-04-01“…The domain name system (DNS) is an important internet infrastructure.However,current DNS utilizes centralized hierarchical structure with severe dependence on root server,which causes defects such as the risk of single-point failure and the abuse of central rights.Designing new decentralized DNS mainly focuses on transforming the domain name system from a single trust domain which relies on the center to multiple trust domains with the top-level domain name as the root parallel to each other,but also faces cross-domain credible challenges.To design a cross-domain trusted architecture,the concept of separating control and analysis was adopted,and a dual-blockchain DNS architecture was proposed.At data layer,a novel cross-domain verification was designed based on a one-way accumulator verification scheme,with the time complexity of the verification process O(N) reducing to O(1) nearly.The CDBFT algorithm was proposed by combining the DPoS mechanism and the BFT algorithm,whose average throughput reaches 736 TPS.The theoretical derivation and experimental results have demonstrated the advantages of this new DNS architecture on security,performance,and scalability.…”

Resource cell-wireless coverage structure for next-generation ultra-dense networks
Published 2023-03-01“…With the increasing demand of mobile users for high-speed data transmission services, the problem of insufficient capacity coverage of mobile communication systems in local areas is becoming increasingly prominent.Aiming to eliminate the capacity coverage hole and overcome the complex interference of the network, the resource cell coverage structure was proposed.The coverage structure has the characteristics of elastic scalability and is capable of providing on-demand energy-efficient coverage.Based on the interference management, a basic spatial unit for capacity coverage and energy coverage was formed, and the mutual adaptation of service distribution, energy distribution and coverage structure were realized.Relying on the above coverage structure, a resource cell generation (RCG) method was proposed to enhance capacity coverage.Through dynamically adjusting the coverage structure and providing on-demand network resources, the RCG method could achieve efficient capacity coverage for the uneven service distribution under uniform access point deployment.Simulation and experimental results show that, compared with the traditional static coverage method, the RCG method eliminates the capacity coverage hole, improves the network throughput, and enhances the capacity coverage capability of the network.…”
