Fair and rational delegation of computation in the universally composable framework by Youliang TIAN, Xiaoxia JIANG

    Published 2021-09-01
“…To realize the economic and reputation fairness in rational delegation of computation, a fair and rational delegation of computation scheme based on blockchain model of cryptography in the universally composable (UC) framework was proposed.Firstly, a bidirectional reputation incentive model between the delegator and the calculator was presented by combining direct reputation and indirect reputation.Secondly, a dynamic game model with perfect information for fair and rational delegation of computation was constructed based on game theory, and a unique sub-game Nash equilibrium was further obtained. In addition, by analyzing the requirements for verifiability, rational decision of players, economic and reputation fairness, as well as adversary model, the ideal functionality for fair and rational delegation of computation was proposed. Finally, a fair and rational delegation of computation protocol by combining succinct commit-and-prove and smart contract was proposed to securely realize the ideal functionality. The security analysis shows that the proposed protocol satisfies UC security.…”

Dynamic P2P trust model based on time-window feedback mechanism by SHI Zhi-guo, LIU Ji-wei, WANG Zhi-liang

    Published 2010-01-01
“…The trust models employed by the existing systems do not provide adequate support to cope with dishonest feedbacks, strategically altering behaviors of malicious peers efficiently and the incentive mechanism. The time-window based local trust model TW-Trust was presented to solve these problems. It considers the inherent connection among trust, reputation and incentive and the effect of time factor on the trust computation.Six trust parameters are introduced to compute trustworthiness of peers, named direct trust, history reputation, difference reputation, misusing reputation,simi-larity and incentive utility. These parameters are adjusted in time to reflect the dynamic of the trust environment using feedback control mechanism, thus, the trust evaluation has better adaptability to the dynamic of trust.Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the TW-Trust has advantages in countering strategic altering behavior and dishonest feedbacks of malicious peers and solving the sparseness issue in the computation of similarity. It is more effective in trust computation error and transaction failure rate than the previous models.…”

How charitable giving affects litigation duration? Empirical evidence from China. by Feng Zhu

    Published 2024-01-01
“…The study finds that: (1) Charitable donation behavior can significantly shorten the litigation duration of listed companies. (2) This effect is particularly significant when listed companies are plaintiffs, but not significant when they are defendants. (3) The negative relationship between charitable donations of listed companies and litigation duration is achieved through reputation mechanisms. (4) This effect is more significant for listed companies located in the Northeast region and regions with a lower degree of marketization when facing civil and arbitration cases. (5) Additionally, by constructing panel data on whether companies are involved in litigation and as defendants, it is shown that corporate charitable donations not only have the function of "compensating" reputation but also serve as a kind of "insurance" for reputation. …”

Multinomial subjective logic based extended trust propagation model by Jun-feng TIAN, Li-juan WU

    Published 2013-05-01
“…In order to improve the accurateness of trust evaluation and the applicability of subjective logic,a multinomial subjective logic based extended trust propagation model (MSL-ETPM) was presented, which was composed of trust fu-sion and trust transitivity.Making the fused opinion more accurate and more in line with the intuitive judgment of human,reputation-based fusion operator of multinomial opinions takes effects of the reputation value and observation circum-stance into consideration.Trust transitivity interprets multinomial opinion transitivity as meaning that transitivity process is binomial logical opinion and transitivity information is multinomial opinion, giving trust transitivity formula of multi-nomial opinion and proving related theorem. Finally, the accuracy and adaptability of the model are put to the proof by example analysis.…”
