Research and application exploration of threat intelligence system of telecom operators by Haitao ZHANG, Yi JIANG, Shijie ZHU, Qi CHEN

    Published 2022-12-01
“…With the increasing inequality of network attack and defense in the Internet era, threat intelligence has become one of the important tools to narrow this gap.Based on the analysis of the research status of threat intelligence at home and abroad, a set of construction methods of threat intelligence systems suitable for telecom operators were proposed, including six steps: intelligence planning, intelligence production, intelligence analysis, intelligence management, intelligence sharing and intelligence application.Meanwhile a set of multi-source intelligence fusion assessment mechanisms was presented, and the technologies and methods were systematically expounded involved in the four stages of intelligence aggregation analysis, intelligence reputation analysis, intelligence correlation analysis and intelligence aging analysis, so as to help the telecom operators build the ability of intelligence fusion analysis. At the same time, the principles of intelligence production and synchronous application were given for intrusion and loss intelligence, which provided a useful reference for telecom operators to apply threat intelligence technology to build a security protection system.…”

Research on selective trust-path search and aggregation in distributed environment by Yan-lin QIN, Xiao-ping WU, Jian-xin GAO

    Published 2012-09-01
“…Current trust models based on reputation had some disadvantages in characterizing recommendation credibility and dealing with Trust-Path Search and aggregation. To solve these problems,an updating algorithm for recommendation credibility was proposed considering factors of time decay, recommendation inosculation and success transaction rate.Furthermore,a selective search-algorithm for trust-path in distributed environment was presented. The algorithm uses recommendation credibility, evaluation similarity and trust-path length as its control parameters and can evade malicious nodes directly in the process of searching. It can also stop the search for unnecessary trust-paths and execute the search for paths containing valuable recommendation.Lastly, trust aggregation method was given by using an advanced combining algorithm in D-S theory of evidence.Simulation results show that compared with existing trust models, the proposed model is more robust on defending attacks of various malicious nodes.…”

Two-layer grouped Byzantine fault tolerance algorithm for UAV swarm by Yu CHEN, Lianxing JIA

    Published 2022-01-01
“…To reduce the communication complexity and improve the robustness of blockchain network, a two-layer grouped Byzantine fault tolerance algorithm for unmanned ariel vehicle (UAV) swarm was proposed.First, nodes were divided into several groups according to the formation results of UAV swarm.A portion of high-reputation nodes were selected from each group to form a committee, and other nodes were used as shared nodes.Threshold signature techniques were employed to reduce communication complexity. In that way, nodes from other groups only needed to communicate with the committee nodes of the current group, thus greatly reducing the average communication delay. In addition, the hierarchical structure, which made the identity of the primary node hidden in the committee, reduced the risk of being adaptively attacked by the Byzantine nodes and improves the robustness of the system.Experimental results demonstrates that the proposed algorithm significantly reduces the delay of the consensus process and can effectively ensure the aliveness of the system compared with the comparison algorithm.…”
