How to dissolve The moral problem by Suikkanen Jussi

    Published 2024-01-01
“…Smith himself hoped to solve this problem by analysing the content of our moral judgments in terms of what our fully rational versions would want us to do. This paper first explains why this solution to the moral problem remains problematic and why we therefore are no closer to solving the problem. …”

Research on Water Resources Allocation in Xiangxi River Basin by JING Xiaoju, HUANG Zhiqiang, DANG Xiang, ZHANG Ruigang

    Published 2021-01-01
“…In view of the low level of exploitation and utilization of water resources and the shortage of water conservancy facilities in Xiangxi River Basin, and in order to solve the water resources shortage in local areas and realize the rational allocation of water resources, this paper reasonably predicts the water demand according to the current water use level and the future economic and social development and water-saving potential, calculates the available water supply according to the conditions of existing water sources and the development and utilization plan, analyzes the supply and demand balance of water resources by taking county or region as unit, and puts forward the water resources allocation scheme in Xiangxi River Basin. After secondary analysis of supply and demand balance,84 270 000 m3 of water will be allocated in 2030 to achieve the balance between supply and demand. The results will provide theoretical reference for reasonable and balanced allocation of water resources and promote sustainable utilization of water resources.…”

Adaptive double auction mechanism for cloud resource allocation by Ding DING, Si-wei LUO, Li-hua AI

    Published 2012-09-01
“…By integrating the auction mechanism in economic field into cloud,an adaptive double auction mechanism(ADAM) was proposed to allocate resources in cloud computing.Compared to traditional double auction mechanisms,ADAM traded cloud resource sellers and cloud resource buyers at their expected price and quantity, guaranteed the profits of all participants. Moreover,ADAM applied different auction rules in different cases to satisfy as more participants as possible. As a new mechanism for cloud resource allocation,ADAM was proved to be strategy-proof,weakly budget-balanced and individual rational even under the conditions that the price and quantity of participants were private information.Simulation results also confirm that ADAM outperforms the traditional one on both cloud user satisfaction degree and cloud resource utilization rate and is also economically efficient, especially as more users are involved in the auction market.…”

An empirical analysis of the relationship between innovation efficiency and scale of Internet companies by Shanshan ZHANG, Fuyun WANG

    Published 2022-06-01
“…26 Internet-listed companies were selected, data envelopment method and regression analysis were used to conduct an empirical analysis on the innovation efficiency of Internet companies and its relationship with scale. The research results show that the Internet industry belongs to a high level of innovation industry. The innovation efficiency has shown a fluctuating downward trend in the past five years, and the business model innovation efficiency is higher than the technological innovation efficiency. There is an “inverted U” relationship between the scale of Internet companies and the level of innovation.Properly increasing the scale of enterprises will help enterprises to innovate, however, the benefits and innovation efficiency brought about by scale growth will not continue to grow.Internet companies should expand rationally.Above conclusions provide data support for the high-quality development of Internet companies and for the formulation of relevant national supervision and regulation policies.…”

Blind spectrum sensing based on goodness of fit test for cognitive radio in noise of uncertain power by Lei SHEN, Hai-quan WANG, Zhi-jin ZHAO, Min-hong SUN

    Published 2011-11-01
“…Based on t-distribution and Anderson-Darling test, the first,a method was proposed of spectrum sensing under assumptions that the noise variance was unknown and also the channel information was unknown.Indeed, the sensing was conducted based on Anderson-Darling distance between the distribution of ratio of sample’s mean to sample’s variance and the t-distribution.The second, another sensing method was proposed, under the same assumptions as the above, based on Anderson-Darling distance between the empirical characteristic function and a known characteristic function. The third, lower bounds on detection probabilities of sensings above were given for a flat, slow fading channel.Theoretical analysis and simulations show that the performances of proposed methods are much better than energy detector-based sensing with known noise variance, especially under an environment of a low signal to noise ration(SNR),or small number of samples.…”

Continuité des racines d’après Rabinoff by Marie, Emeryck

    Published 2023-03-01
“…The content of this paper is a generalization of a theorem by Joseph Rabinoff: if $\mathscr{P}$ is a finite family of pointed and rational polyhedra in $N_\mathbb{R}$ such that there exists a fan in $N_\mathbb{R}$ that contains all the recession cones of the polyhedra of $\mathscr{P}$, if $k$ is a complete non-archimedean field, if $S$ is a connected and regular $k$-analytic space (in the sense of Berkovich) and $Y$ is a closed $k$-analytic subset of $U_{\mathscr{P}} \times _k S$ which is relative complete intersection and contained in the relative interior of $U_{\mathscr{P}} \times _k S$ over $S$, then the quasifiniteness of $\pi : Y \rightarrow S$ implies its flatness and finiteness; moreover, all the finite fibers of $\pi $ have the same length. …”

TRANSIENT RESPONSE ANALYSIS OF MACHINING CENTER UNDER IMPACT OF HIGH ACCELERATION by MI Jie, ZHEN Zhen, ZHU YingPing

    Published 2018-01-01
“…The manufacturing processing of blade, which has complicated structure and irregular surface shape, become increasingly high-speed.Thus,high acceleration is required to ensure the rapid movement of each axis.At the same time, the machining accuracy should be confirmed under the acceleration impact. The finite element model of a domestic blade machining center is established to take the transient response analysis by using ANSYS Workbench. Moreover,a new method of composite unit is presented to bolted joints and guide joints. And,the load solutions are given to linear and rotational acceleration impact. The transient responses of machining center under different accelerations are obtained, and the vibration attenuation time is analyzed to meet the machining accuracy. Thus, the impact of machine vibration on machining accuracy is minimized under high acceleration. The results provides theoretical basis for rational allocation of acceleration, optimization of the blade processing and improvement of dynamic characteristics of machining center.…”
