Acoustic-radio cooperative marine information network
Published 2018-06-01“…The transmissions of ocean information have to cross the water-air interface.In this case,the information transmission network architecture requires the efficient integration of the underwater acoustic network and the radio network.However,the performance of the underwater acoustic link lags far behind the radio link,and becomes a bottleneck that restricts the performance of marine information networks.An acoustic-radio cooperative marine information network was proposed,which exploited the cooperation of acoustic and radio links to improve network performance.After demonstrating the advantages of acoustic-radio cooperation through three application scenarios,the network architecture and protocols,as well as the challenges for the acoustic-radio cooperative maritime information network were discussed.Acoustic-radio cooperation was not only an effective method for realizing the integration of air-water networks,but also an important method for realizing the integration of network communications,computing,and storage in marine information networks.…”

Published 2021-01-01“…As a kind of bionic robot fish,bionic killer whale played an important role in ocean development and scientific investigation.Based on the theory of flapping wing movement,the biomimetic killer whale was designed in the way of fish propulsion,the load was nonlinear,time-varying and strongly coupled.The bionic killer whale‘s force model was established through the analysis of the bionic killer whale’s straight line and turning movement.The instantaneous load’s text file of bionic killer whale was generated by MATLAB,the instantaneous load was successfully introduced into the rigid-flexible coupling model by ADAMS spline function,which provided a method and condition for qualitative and quantitative analysis of bionic killer whale’rigid-flexible coupling reliability analysis.The results show that MATLAB can accurately simulate the periodic change of the bionic killer whale’s instantaneous load,providing a clear quantitative data for the bionic killer whale’s reliability research.…”

Estimation and Study on the Potential of Irrawaddy River Waterway

Aiming at the development of the Irrawaddy River waterway, thispaper deduces the theoretical formula for the waterway depth based on the hydraulics, river dynamicsand available estimation methods for waterway potential, and estimates the theoretical depth of thewaterway that can be achieved in different sections of the Irrawaddy River by the measured data andempirical parameters.The results show that under the condition of 98% navigation guarantee rate ofthe Irrawaddy River, the minimum waterway development depth from Bhamo to Mandalay, Mandalay toProme, and Prome to Yangon is 2.14 m, 2.58 m and 2.75 m respectively, and the annual navigationcapacity is more than 1.8 billion tons.The research results can provide some theoretical andtechnical support for the development of the Irrawaddy River waterway.…”
