Efficient resource allocation with context-awareness for parked car road side unit-based Internet of vehicles
Published 2022-07-01“…In order to reduce the number of road side unit (RSU) and meet the needs of mobile vehicle users for processing latency-sensitive and computation-intensive tasks, a context-aware resource allocation algorithm was proposed based on parked cars.Road side parked vehicles were selected to serve the vehicle users instead of RSU using parking time as a factor for determining whether a parked vehicle could become a parked car roadside unit (PCRSU).In order to further reduce the system response time, a mechanism was designed considering content caching and distribution. In respect to user content caching, PCRSU made personalized content recommendation for vehicle users with awareness by using two elements of user historical search data and point of interest (PoI) area type.In respect to content distribution, PCRSU allocated bandwidth efficiently by sensing the data transmission needs of vehicle users.Extensive experiments show that compared with the existing benchmark methods, the proposed algorithm can select PCRSU more reasonably, effectively reduce the demand response delay, improve the stability of the network while ensuring network coverage, and provide more accurate service content for vehicle users.…”

New multiple access and waveform technology for 6G
Published 2022-10-01“…With the explosive growth of Internet devices, the 5G new radio (NR) system faces congestion and high latency issues due to the low access efficiency of traditional orthogonal multiple access (OMA).Besides this, the performance of the orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM)-based system is severely degraded due to the Doppler effect in high-speed scenarios. To meet the low-latency, high-reliability, and massive connection requirements of 6G communication in high-mobility scenarios, firstly, a novel orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS)-based pattern division multiple access (PDMA) scheme, shortened as OTFS-PDMA, was proposed. Then, the system input-output relationship of different types of PDMA codeword allocation schemes in the delay-Doppler (DD) domain was derived. Finally, a low-complexity expectation propagation algorithm (EPA)-based receiver was proposed.Simulation results illustrate that the proposed OTFS-PDMA scheme achieves significant performance gains over the conventional OTFS-OMA scheme. For regular PDMA patterns, the PDMA codeword allocation has a slight impact on the system performance. For irregular patterns, the centralized spreading method outperforms the discrete one.For discrete spreading scheme, the system can achieve better performance by assigning irregular PDMA spread signals along the Doppler direction. In addition, the proposed EPA receiver outperforms its conventional counterparts.…”

Customer service complaint work order classification based on matrix factorization and attention multi-task learning
Published 2022-02-01“…The automatic classification of complaint work orders is the requirement of the digital and intelligent development of customer service of communication operators. The categories of customer service complaint work orders have multiple levels, each level has multiple labels, and the levels are related, which belongs to a typical hierarchical multi-label text classification (HMTC) problem. Most of the existing solutions are based on classifiers to process all classification labels at the same time, or use multiple classifiers for each level, ignoring the dependence between hierarchies.A matrix factorization and attention-based multi-task learning approach (MF-AMLA) to deal with hierarchical multi-label text classification tasks was proposed.Under the classification data of real complaint work orders in the customer service scenario of communication operators, the maximum Top1 F1 value of MF-AMLA is increased by 21.1% and 5.7% respectively compared with the commonly used machine learning algorithm and deep learning algorithm in this scenario. It has been launched in the customer service system of one mobile operator, the accuracy of model output is more than 97%, and the processing efficiency of customer service agent unit time has been improved by 22.1%.…”

Software Defi ned Satellite Network Assisted Multi-Domain Routing Strategy for Aeronautical Networks
Published 2022-09-01“…Satellite network layer and aeronautical network layer are treated as important parts of the next generation network, which will lead the world into the era of global interconnection. However, the high mobility and sparse distribution of aircraft limit the application of traditional routing algorithms originally designed for ground-based ad-hoc networks. Therefore, this paper used the aeronautical network to access software defi ned satellite network (Sat-SDN) for realizing real-time communication and state synchronization between aircraft via the inter-satellite and satellite-to-aircraft links. In order to extend the aeronautical networking and transmission mechanism to the global scope, a multiple domain division method was proposed, and an inter domain routing algorithm was presented.By analogy the refl ection principle of light, a routing learning method which limited the broadcasting of routing learning packets into a specifi c area was proposed, and eff ectively avoided severe communication overhead caused by state synchronization and fl ooding learning in large-scale networks. The real aircraft data was used for experimental simulation to compared the performance of proposed low-cost inter-domain routing algorithm (LIRA) with existing solutions. The simulation results showed that LIRA could eff ectively reduced the communication overhead and improved the transmission quality.…”
