Energy consumption optimization scheme in UAV-assisted MEC system based on optimal SIC order
Published 2024-02-01“…In uplink non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-based unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted mobile edge computing (MEC) system, the successive interference cancellation (SIC) order of NOMA became a bottleneck limiting the transmission performance of task offload in uplink link.To reduce the energy consumption of the system, the SIC order was discussed and the optimal SIC order based on channel gain and task delay constraint was proposed. The optimization problem of minimizing the system energy consumption was proposed based on the optimal SIC order while satisfying the constraints of the given task delay of the device, the maximum transmit power constraint of the device, and the UAV trajectory.Since the problem was a complex non-convex problem, an alternating optimization method was adopted to solve the optimization problem to achieve power allocation and UAV trajectory optimization.A low-complexity algorithm based on matching theory was proposed to obtain the optimal device grouping in different time slots.Simulation results show that the optimal SIC order can realize smaller system energy consumption under the same task delay constraint compared with other SIC order, the proposed low-complexity device grouping algorithm can obtain the optimal device grouping.…”

Spectral clustering-based energy-efficient resource allocation algorithm in heterogeneous cellular ultra-dense network
Published 2021-07-01“…In order to solve problems of high power consumption, spectrum shortage and low energy efficiency in the ultra-intensive 5G mobile communication scenario, a resource allocation algorithm based on the maximum energy efficiency for the two-layer heterogeneous cellular non-orthogonal multiple access network was proposed. The original NP-hard optimization problem on the downlink communication link of ultra-dense scene was divided into two subproblem, such as frequency resource allocation and power allocation, which became a deterministic constraint optimization problem. The frequency resource allocation scheme of different user groups was obtained by using base station clustering based on the improved k-means algorithm and users grouping based on spectral clustering algorithm. The fraction of energy efficiency optimization was transformed into a solvable continuous convex optimization problem and power distribution was realized by Dinkelbach method, and the Lagrange multiplier iterative algorithm, respectively.Jointly optimize system energy efficiency in terms of base station clustering, user grouping, resource block allocation and power allocation, which minimized the inter-cluster interference and intra-cluster interference of the base station efficiently. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is better on energy efficiency and computational efficiency compared with existing algorithms.…”

Spectrum demand prediction ofLTE-Rsystem based on delay difference constraint
Published 2017-12-01“…In order to plan and allocate the spectrum resources ofLTE-Rscientifically,it is necessary to make reasonable forecast of total spectrum demand for LTE-R.After deep analysis of ITU-R M.1768 method,a spectrum demand forecasting method based on different delay constraints forLTE-Rsystem was provided. This method defined nine kinds of service categories, nine kinds of service environments, and derived the expression ofLTE-Rsystem traffic.Under different delay constraints condition of different services, the M/G/1 queuing model was used to analyze the spectrum requirements ofLTE-Rsystem preliminarily. The results show that the uplink and downlink spectrum demand of China’sLTE-Rsystem is asymmetric and the possible range is 14~15MHz uplink and 5~6MHz downlink, respectively. If new video traffic in the future is not considered, the current spectrum resources distributed to GSM-R system spectrum can meet the bandwidth requirements ofLTE-Rsystem.In addition, the influence of engineering frequency efficiency ofLTE-Rnetwork and high-bandwidth video traffic onLTE-Rspectrum total bandwidth demand was analyzed. This study provides technical support for the frequency planning of China’s next generation railway mobile communication system.…”
