Energy-efficient and QoS-supported deployment strategy of dense Macro-Femto cellular network
Published 2018-07-01“…With the exponentially increasing of users’ demand for mobile data traffic, massive small cells have been deployed to satisfy the users’ quality of service (QoS) by operators. However,a significant energy would be consumed caused by dense deployment. To this end,a dense heterogeneous cellular network deployment strategy was proposed with QoS guarantee to decline system energy consumption.Firstly,a dense Macro-Femto biased cellular network was used to build the network model, the two QoS indicators of SINR coverage and user average rate was analyzed by stochastic geometry theory. Then, under the condition of QoS constraint, average spatial power consumption (ASPC) was taken as the optimization goal, optimal deploy density and transmission power of Femto were achieved by using optimization theory. Finally, the experimental results show that, comparing with the traditional strategy which only considering base station density, the proposed strategy has advantages in terms of energy efficiency while QoS guarantee.…”

PCA-based membership inference attack for machine learning models
Published 2022-01-01“…Aiming at the problem of restricted access failure in current black box membership inference attacks, a PCA-based membership inference attack was proposed.Firstly, in order to solve the restricted access problem of black box membership inference attacks, a fast decision membership inference attack named fast-attack was proposed.Based on the perturbation samples obtained by the distance symbol gradient, the perturbation difficulty was mapped to the distance category for membership inference.Secondly, in view of the low mobility problem of fast-attack, a PCA-based membership inference attack was proposed.Combining the algorithmic ideas based on the perturbation category in the fast-attack and the PCA technology to suppress the low-migration behavior caused by excessive reliance on the model. Finally, experiments show that fast-attack reduces the access cost while ensuring the accuracy of the attack.PCA-based attack is superior to the baseline attack under the unsupervised setting, and the migration rate of model is increased by 10% compared to fast-attack.…”

A joint optimization method of multi backhaul link selection and power allocation in 6G
Published 2023-06-01“…Aiming at the problem of limited single backhaul link capability of base stations in hotspot areas of the 6G system, a joint optimization method was proposed for multi-backhaul link selection and power allocation in an elastic coverage system, so that the data packets can select the appropriate backhaul link and transmission power according to their service characteristics and link conditions.Firstly, the transmission delay of data packets on the small cell sub-queue was analyzed by using queuing theory. Then, the optimization objective was modeled with the maximum delay tolerance elasticity value. Finally, the optimization problem were solved by the Hungarian algorithm and the Lagrangian duality and gradient descent method. The simulation results show that, compared with the traditional algorithm, the algorithm proposed reduces the average delay of URLLC (ultra-reliable and low-latency communication) service data packets and eMBB (enhanced mobile broadband) service data packets by 17% and 14% respectively, and effectively improves the network transmission rate.…”

Terahertz wave propagation and channel characterization
Published 2022-01-01“…Firstly, the different characteristics of terahertz waves compared to lower frequency bands were summarized, including the influence of meteorological factors and rough surfaces of materials on THz waves.Next, it was proposed to use ray-tracing (RT) technology to calibrate the three-dimensional (3D) environment model and electromagnetic parameters of materials in the target scenarios through very limited channel measurement data. Then, the reversed parameters were utilized to perform in a similar but more general scenario, instead of a large amount of channel measurement data. Finally, the channel characteristics were analyzed by extraction of the channel key parameters, such as path loss, shadow fading, Rician K-factor, delay spread, angular spread, and doppler parameters in a mobile scenario.Representing two ends of 6G THz use cases from indoor scenario to outdoor scenario, case studies were made for wireless connections on a desktop and vehicular communications, respectively. As for the outdoor scenario, the influences of meteorological factors were additionally considered. The work is of great significance for the design and evaluation of the THz communication system.…”

A multi-hop D2D and social awareness based novel relay selection algorithm
Published 2022-08-01“…The social domain was introduced to multi-hop D2D (device-to-device) communication in cellular network scenarios, and a novel relay selection algorithm for multi-hop D2D communication under cellular network was proposed.Unlike existing relay selection algorithms, the proposed algorithm selects relays for each hop in reverse order, which reduces the signaling overhead caused by algorithm implement. Then, social domain information of mobile terminals was introduced to the algorithm and its influence on the algorithm’s performance was studied, which was found significant enough not to be overlooked hence providing useful guidance to designing algorithms in practical systems. Moreover, via extensive Monte Carlo simulations, it is discovered that the proposed algorithm outperforms the benchmarks in terms of data throughput and energy efficiency in absence of social relationship information. In a more practical implementation with social relationship information included, the proposed algorithm though naturally achieving less throughput, significantly outperforms the benchmarks in energy efficiency.…”
