Research on geomagnetic indoor high-precision positioning algorithm based on generative model
Published 2023-06-01“…Aiming at the current bottleneck of constructing a fine geomagnetic fingerprint library that required a lot of labor costs, two generative models called the conditional variational autoencoder and the conditional confrontational generative network were proposed, which could collect a small number of data samples for a given location, and generate pseudo-label fingerprints. At the same time, in order to solve the problem of low positioning accuracy of single-point geomagnetic fingerprints, a geomagnetic sequence positioning algorithm based on attention mechanism of convolutional neural network-gated recurrent unit was designed, which could effectively use the spatial and temporal characteristics of fingerprints to achieve precise positioning. In addition, a real-time, portable mobile terminal data collection and positioning system was also designed and built. The actual test shows that the proposed model can effectively construct the available geomagnetic fingerprint database, and the average error of the proposed algorithm can reach 0.16 m.…”

A transmission technology of environmental monitoring for ocean based on over-the-horizon skywave
Published 2018-09-01“…In view of the serious limitation of local resource supply for remote island and reef and the lack of low cost, high reliability long-distance transmission methods for environmental monitoring, relying on the mobile communication base stations widely distributed on the land,an over-the-horizon(OTH) skywave access network based on wide-area cooperative reception was proposed. The problems of channel fading, link asymmetry and spectrum congestion faced by remote island and reef environments monitoring for an OTH skywave transmission were solved from three aspects:physical layer, network layer and perceptive layer. The simulation results of the lower link transmission waveform and the multi-channel fusion algorithm in the typical skywave channel environment show that the reliable access of low-power transceiver in the remote island and reef within a range of 3 000 km could be guaranteed only through the cooperative reception of three access nodes. There was also some reference to monitoring of national ocean-going ships and border defence traffic pass monitoring.…”

Smartphone-based indoor localization by fusion of acoustic ranging and PDR
Published 2018-06-01“…A novel indoor localization algorithm that integrates acoustic ranging and pedestrian dead reckoning (PDR) algorithm was presented,to reduce the accumulated error of the inertial sensors in the process of indoor positioning using PDR.Firstly, the PDR was used for position estimation. Then, the distance between the mobile phone and the wall was measured by using sound waves, and the cumulative error in the PDR was corrected by combining the above position and the distance with the known indoor map information.Hence,long-term stable indoor positioning can be achieved without laying out any nodes. In order to solve the problem that the echo signals reflected by the wall under long-distance conditions were difficult to detect, signal enhancement on the echoes reflected from the target wall was performed by using beamforming, taking advantage of the characteristics of the built-in dual microphones in the smartphone, then the effective measurement distance was increased and the application range of the proposed method was expanded.Experimental results show that the average positioning error of the proposed fusion localization method is 0.427 m.Compared with the results of using PDR alone, the average positioning error is reduced by 2.748 m.…”

Le peuple et la coca. Populisme cocalero et restructuration de l’échiquier politique bolivien
Published 2005-09-01“…The rise of the “Movimiento Al Socialismo” in the foreground of Bolivian political life in June, 2002 is the result of the progressive transformation of a social movement, from the promotion of purely sector-based interests – the defence of coca producers – to a logic of the privileged expression of the popular will: the gain of representativeness of the MAS has forced the extension of its mobilizing slogans. His leader, the former union activist Evo Morales, appears as the holder of a sovereignty which he claims to restore to the people so that it recovers a word stolen by the elites which shares the power since the democratic transition. …”

Sustainability imaginaries by design

Direct localization algorithm of the aerial target based on external radiation source
Published 2023-06-01“…In order to improve the accuracy of aerial target location and ensure its concealment, a direct location algo-rithm of the aerial target based on external radiation source was proposed.Fixed broadcast signals were used as transmit-ting sources, and the signals scattered by the aerial targets were received by multiple receivers.A direct relationship be-tween the synchronized multi-dimensional baseband signals and the position coordinates of the target was established, and then the spatial cross-spectrum function and joint matching function were constructed.Through iterative spectral peak search, the positioning results of the aerial target could be optimized, and the impact of direct signals and multipath signals on the ground could be effectively suppressed.Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed al-gorithm is better than that of the traditional two-step localization method and other direct localization methods in the case of low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), and it can achieve high-precision localization of the three-dimensional mobile target.…”

Heterogeneous federated bidirectional knowledge distillation transfer semi-supervised modulation recognition
Published 2023-11-01“…The large-scale deployment and rapid development of the new generation mobile communication system underpin the widespread application of a massive and diverse range of Internet of things (IoT) devices. However, the distributed application of IoT devices results to significant disparities in private data and substantial heterogeneity in local processing models, which severely limits the aggregation capability of global intelligent model. Therefore, to tackle the challenges of data heterogeneity, model heterogeneity, and insufficient labeling faced by intelligent modulation recognition in cognitive IoT, an algorithm was proposed for heterogeneous federated bidirectional semi-supervised modulation recognition, which incorporated bidirectional knowledge distillation. In the proposed algorithm, a public pseudo dataset was generated by variational autoencoder in the cloud for supporting uplink global knowledge distillation, and adaptively sharing to the local devices for downlink heterogeneous knowledge distillation, while integrating a semi-supervised algorithm within the distillation process. The simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm outperforms current federated learning algorithms in terms of effectiveness and applicability in the field of communication signal processing.…”
