Hypergamy reconsidered: Marriage in England, 1837-2021.
Published 2025-01-01“…It is widely believed that women value social status in marital partners more than men, leading to female marital hypergamy ("marrying up"), and more female intergenerational social mobility. Using evidence from more than 33 million marriages and 67 million births in England 1837-2021 we show that within this era there was never significant hypergamous marriage by women. …”

6G endogenous security:blockchain technology
Published 2020-01-01“…With the development of mobile communication technology towards marginalization and distributed structure, the traditional network security method of external border protection will be faced with more and more challenges. The emerging network security accidents also show that it is necessary to grow self-adaptive,independent and self-growing security capabilities from the information system, that is,endogenous security.Blockchain,as a de-centralized shared ledger and database, has the characteristics of decentralization, immutability, leaving traces throughout, traceability, collective maintenance, openness and transparency, etc.…”

The Effects of Knowledge Base Diversity on Cross-Industry Innovation Performance: The Moderating Role of Network Embeddedness
Published 2023-01-01“…To reveal the impact of knowledge base diversity (KBD) and network embeddedness on cross-industry innovation performance (CIP), we performed an empirical hierarchical regression analysis using patent data from the mobile phone industry. The results show the following. (1) There was an inverted U-shaped relationship between relevant KBD and CIP and a U-shaped relationship between nonrelevant KBD and CIP. (2) The effects of relevant KBD on CIP were negatively moderated by an enterprise’s structural embeddedness (SE) and relational embeddedness (RE) in the innovation network. (3) The effects of nonrelevant KBD on CIP were positively moderated by an enterprise’s SE and RE in the innovation network. …”

A survey of key protocol and application scenario of time-sensitive network
Published 2019-10-01“…With the development of information technology, the demand for scenarios with objects as the main body of communication is increasing, such as factory automation control, automatic driving, etc. The time delay requirements of such communication for data transmission far exceed the controllable range of traditional ethernet, then time-sensitive network have emerged.Time-sensitive network is a standardized technology that provides deterministic information transmission based on standard ethernet. It minimizes jitter through time-aware scheduling mechanism and provides reliable guarantee of data transmission for time-sensitive applications. The core characteristics and mechanism of time-sensitive network were introduced through the description of IEEE standards and its application scenarios were analyzed in vehicle network, industrial internet, aircraft data network and mobile fronthaul network.…”
