RESEARCH CONCAVE CIRCULAR HOLE TEMPLATE LINEAR VARIABLE THICKNESS STIFFNESS AND STRENGTH THEORIES
Published 2015-01-01“…This paper studies linear variable thickness circular aperture concave template theory of stiffness and strength calculation.First, set up mechanical model:Template for circular concave, outside the perimeter fixed; center has a round hole, inside the perimeter free, outside under uniformly distributed vertical load.Secondly, the establishment of mathematical model:Derivation of concave template in the axisymmetric condition, ordinary differential equation with variable coefficients of elastic curved surface, and gives the mathematical expressions of boundary conditions.Again,in view of the differential equation boundary value problem, the displacement method and the Matlab algorithm,it is concluded that the deflection of concave template function, and establish the stiffness calculation condition of concave template. Then, determine the concave template on the bending moment and the maximum bending moment and stress,so as to establish a concave template strength calculation conditions. Finally, numerical examples. This paper presents the function solutions,to change law of control concave template section variable parameters. In this way,not only highlight the interdependent relationship between the quantity of each, and optimization, and discussion and application. The result is suitable for uniform, continuous, isotropic material artifacts.Because in the process of calculation and data processing with error,so the formula is similar.…”

Improved DFA algorithm based on multi-dimensional finite automata
Published 2015-05-01“…Compiling multiple regular expression signatures into a combined DFA can blowup in state and storage space.Explanations from the prospective of information theory and multi-dimensional mathematical model were proposed fo-cusing on the most serious state explosion.Redundancy states were divided into zero-dimensional ones and one-dimensional ones. The former were compressed by dimension, and the later were dynamically built. The space com-plexity of the model came to the theoretical lower bound by the above methods. Then the multi-dimensional finite auto-mata (MFA) was proposed with the model.Experiments show that, the construction time taken by MFA is slightly less than XFA and is 2~3 orders of magnitude lower than DFA,STT redundancy compression algorithms and Hybrid-FA; the memory space of MFA is slightly higher than XFA,but is 1~2 orders of magnitude lower than DFA,STT redundancy compression algorithms,mDFA and Hybrid-FA; in the aspect of matching time,MFA ranks after DFA and Hybrid-FA,but ranks before XFA,and it achieves 1~2 orders of magnitude lower than that of STT redundancy compression algo-rithms and mDFA.…”

Increasing survival time decreases the cost-effectiveness of using "test & treat to eliminate HIV epidemics
Published 2013-07-01“…., universal ``test & treat'') could lead to HIV elimination and would be extremely cost-effective.It is now being debated whether to use a universal ``test and treat'' approach in the ``real-world'' as a prevention strategy to control HIV epidemics. However current modeling predictions of the impact, and cost-effectiveness, of universal ``test & treat'' strategies are based on an unrealistically short survival time for treated individuals. Here we use mathematical modeling and a longer, more realistic, survival time.We model the potential impact of a universal ``test & treat'' strategy in South Africa. Our results show that increasing the length of the survival time on treatment, although beneficial to individuals, reduces the probability of eliminating HIV and decreases the cost-effectiveness of using universal ``test & treat'' strategies. Therefore our results show that individual-level benefits and public health benefits will conflict when using ``test & treat'' strategies to reduce HIV transmission.…”
