Evaluation of Curtain Durability of Karst Dam Based on AHP-FCE Method by GUO Xiaojing, XIE Mengshan, CAO Lei, LIU Ziyan, JIANG Maiyong, LI Jinyou

    Published 2023-01-01
“…Dam curtain in Karst area is vulnerable to failure under Karst water erosion. Therefore, scientific evaluation of curtain durability is the key to the safe operation of dams. Therefore, this paper first used the analytic hierarchy process to construct the criterion layer of design factor layer, construction factor layer and service environment layer, and calculated the weight of each index via relative scale.Secondly, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method (FCE) was used to deal with the qualitative and quantitative index values, with the curtain durability evaluation model of the Karst dam composed of 19 indexes constructed. Finally, the established evaluation model was adopted to comprehensively evaluate the curtain durability of typical Karst dams. The results show that the eigenvalues of the fuzzy judgment matrix are less than 0.1,indicating that each index reports reasonable weight distribution. The representative value of the comprehensive evaluation results of the curtain durability of the typical Karst dam is 0.569 6,which falls within the “excellent” grade. This shows that the curtain design and construction scheme of the project is feasible, and the current operation of the curtain is basically consistent with the evaluation results, that is,the curtain durability evaluation model of the Karst dam established in this paper is reasonable. The research results cast new light on the qualitative evaluation of the curtain durability of the Karst dam,and also provide a reference for the design and construction scheme of the curtain in the Karst area, the durability of the buildings in the Karst area, and the durability evaluation of the buildings in the non-Karst area.…”

La représentation sociale que les adolescents se font des aînés peut-elle influencer le développement de la pensée critique dialogique ? Étude d’une « scène » racontée par des adol... by Vanessa Molina, Marie-France Daniel, Karima Belguiti

    Published 2020-06-01
“…Using an approach that understands social representation as a “scene” as well as the literature related to old persons in African societies, this paper attempts to explain the results of this study by analyzing a social representation frequently mentioned in the discourse of interviewed Moroccan youths and which revolves around the age hierarchy and the duty to listen to the elderly. The analysis of this “scene” highlights the social attitudes instilled in teenagers living in the Moroccan cultural context and which are likely to foster the development of a relativist epistemological perspective with regard to dialogical critical thinking.…”

Révision de Jane Eyre comme métacommentaire philosophique dans les romans d’Anita Brookner by Eileen Williams-Wanquet

    Published 2006-12-01
“…Whereas Jane Eyre can ultimately be read as a “Victorian romance” which preaches reason in the name of social order, by replacing the traditional happy ending by an unhappy ending in which virtue is punished and by foregrounding the disastrous effects of suppressing passion in the name of reason or self in the name of the other, Brookner announces the end of a philosophical humanistic tradition in which the subject / object or self / other opposition gives rise to a host of binary oppositions, the notion of centre validating the dominance of one of the terms of the hierarchy.…”
