Published 2010-01-01“…Considering cloud point as threshold temperature of the solubility, the energetic of clouding process (ΔG0cl, ΔH0cl and ΔS0cl) have been evaluated using “Phase Separation Model" It is found that the overall clouding process is exothermic and ΔH0cl > TΔS0cl indicating that the process of clouding is guided by both enthalpy and entropy. This work supports the conjecture that the cloud point is critical phenomenon rather than the growth of micelles.…”

A single flow detection enabled method for DDoS attacks in IoT based on traffic feature reconstruction and mapping
Published 2024-01-01“…To address the slow response time of existing detection modules to Internet of things (IoT) distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, their low feature differentiation, and poor detection performance, a single flow detection enabled method based on traffic feature reconstruction and mapping (SFDTFRM) was proposed.Firstly, SFDTFRM employed a queue to store previously arrived flow based on the first in, first out rule.Secondly, to address the issue of similarity between normal communication traffic of IoT devices and DDoS attack traffic, a multidimensional reconstruction neural network model more lightweight compared to the baseline model and a function mapping method were proposed.The modified model loss function was utilized to reconstruct the quantitative feature matrix of the queue according to the corresponding index, and transformed into a mapping feature matrix through the function mapping method, enhancing the differences between different types of traffic, including normal communication traffic of IoT devices and DDoS attack traffic.Finally, the frequency information was extracted using a text convolutional network and information entropy calculation and the machine learning classifier was employed for DDoS attack traffic detection.The experimental results on two benchmark datasets show that SFDTFRM can effectively detect different DDoS attacks, and the average metrics value of SFDTFRM is a maximum of 12.01% higher than other existing methods.…”

Published 2023-01-01“…With the high-quality development at the national level,the comprehensive evaluation of regional coordinated development has become a hot topic of concern,and the evaluation of regional coordinated development has evolved from a single evaluation to a comprehensive evaluation.There is a complex coupling relationship between regional society,economy,and environment.In order to achieve sustainable and coordinated regional development,a comprehensive evaluation system including nine secondary evaluation indicators and 22 tertiary evaluation indicators was constructed in terms of three dimensions:society,economy,and environment.According to the data of Sinan County in Guizhou Province from 2014 to 2018,the variation coefficient method,entropy weight method,and other methods were used to calculate the comprehensive weight of each indicator of the social-economic-environmental system.Then the coupling coordination degree was calculated,so as to provide a scientific basis for the sustainable development of the county.The results show that from 2014 to 2018,① the effect of environmental improvement is relatively lagging behind that of the other two systems and can be classified as a relatively lagging type of environment;② the development of the social subsystem first decreases and then increases,and it then decreases to the initial level,while the economic and environmental subsystems show a stable increasing trend;③ the coupling degree and coordinated development degree of the system show an increasing trend year by year,and the system is now on the verge of high coupling degree and dysfunctional development.…”
