Published 2024-01-01“…Low-carbon cities are considered to be the inevitable trend for current urban development.In order to systematically analyze the research status of low-carbon cities and point out the direction for future low-carbon research,this paper selects the relevant literature in the database of China National Knowledge Network and Web of Science and makes bibliometric analysis.The research status and development trend of low-carbon cities are grasped by analyzing the knowledge map and literature network relationship.The research points out that: ① Chinese research on low-carbon cities has been gradually carried out since 2008.It is expected that with the proposal of China's strategic goal of carbon peak and carbon neutrality,the carbon peak and ecological city may become the hotspot of global research on low-carbon cities in the future; ② the cooperation between Chinese and overseas authors and institutions needs to be strengthened,and cross-disciplinary research may gradually strengthen with the development of low-carbon city research; ③ the carbon peak time path of key industries,cross-regional carbon trading management mechanism,carbon emission quota,elimination of policy impact,carbon trading policy performance evaluation, and CCUS technology are urgent issues to be solved in low-carbon city research.This study provides a basis for the theoretical research and design practice of high-quality development of low-carbon cities.…”
