The Unity of Virtue and Body: Moral Realization in Mencius’ Theory of Embodying Virtue
Published 2025-01-01“…Mencius’ “Theory of Embodying Virtue 踐形說” is an important theory that combines moral cultivation and physical practice, emphasizing that virtue is externalized and realized through concrete physical actions. This paper explores the theoretical foundation of the “Theory of Embodying Virtue 踐形說”, examining its internal connections with Mencius’ doctrines of “Innate Goodness”, “Four Beginnings 四端”, and “Nurturing Qi 養氣”. …”

Improved space protocol identification algorithm
Published 2012-05-01“…An improved boyer-moore (BM) algorithm for space protocol identification was proposed.First,a space data preprocessing technique based on bit distance was used to increase the size of data set.A decimal jumping technique was introduced to enhance the matching efficiency for the col head part of the BM algorithm. Then, the regular expression method was applied to proceed the protocol identification and the hierarchy associated analysis technique was proposed to improve the efficiency of multi-level space protocol identification. Finally, the complexity of the proposed algorithm was analyzed and verified with concrete experiments. The results show that with the proposed algorithm,as to pattern string length m,the time complexity of the single layer protocol identification can be reduced to (1+m/4)/m of the BM algorithm. The efficiency of the protocol identification for multi-level layers can be improved about 2.5 times.Meanwhile, comparing with BM algorithm, the proposed algorithm can solve the problem of pattern string shortage and large wildcards in the space data. The identification iciency in case of huge data packages can be improved and the new formed data block can restrain the state expansion for the DFA matching engine in regular expression.…”

Research on a Double-Side Multi-arch Wing Wall Based on Specification Design
Published 2020-01-01“…And through the arch effect, the bending moment and the shearforce arising from the horizontal water pressure, horizontal earth pressure and other effects born bythe front water-facing surface and rear soil-retaining surface can be almost converted into theaxial force of the arch structure, which makes full use of the compressive strength of the archconcrete, so without reinforced bars or with less construction albars in this arch, the archthickness is thinner, and the concrete materials and engineering investment are saved. …”

Overlapping qubits from non-isometric maps and de Sitter tensor networks
Published 2025-01-01“…We show that local processes in effective theories can be spoofed with a quantum system with fewer degrees of freedom, with deviations from actual locality identifiable as features of quantum gravity. For a concrete example, we construct two tensor network models of de Sitter space-time, demonstrating how exponential expansion and local physics can be spoofed for a long period before breaking down. …”

L’abandon aux études doctorales : un problème de direction?
Published 2023-01-01“…Whatever the answers to these questions, it is generally admitted that supervision plays an important role in supporting study persistence; 1) guided admission, from the early stages, helps prevent some dropping out, 2) transparent communication, when dealing with the inevitable times of feeling bereft, impacts on perseverance, 3) ongoing work around employability helps identify concrete goals and work on next steps. This paper investigates pedagogical practices that specifically address the relationship between supervision and perseverance in doctoral studies. …”
