Weighted Pseudo Almost-Periodic Functions and Applications to Semilinear Evolution Equations by Jun Zhang, Ti-Jun Xiao, Jin Liang

    Published 2012-01-01
“…Some important remarks with concrete examples are also presented. Moreover, we prove an existence theorem for the weighted pseudo almost-periodic mild solution to the semilinear evolution equation: x′(t)=Ax(t)+f(t,x(t)), t∈ℝ, where A is the infinitesimal generator of an exponentially stable C0-semigroup. …”

Spectrum sensing algorithm based on symmetry of cyclic spectral correlation by Yu-long GAO, Yan-ping CHEN, Xiu-zhi GUAN, Zhong-zhao ZHANG, Xue-jun SHA

    Published 2011-11-01
“…In response to the shortcoming of conventional algorithms, modified SSCA was exploited to calculate the cyclic spectral correlation of received signal for decreasing the computational complexity.Symmetry of cyclic spectral correlation (CSC) was used to detect the idle spectrum, criteria and method of selecting and judging symmetry were proposed.Conventional binary hypothesis condition was translated to concrete value according to symmetry. In order to eliminate the effect of interference and noise,non-zero cyclic frequencies were selected. Finally, the performance of the presented algorithm was compared with the conventional algorithms by virtue of simulation.Simulation results proved the correctness and the superiority of new algorithms.Using symmetry improves the successful detection probability for low SNR and reduces the computational complexity.…”

A brittle fracture criterion for PMMA V-notches tensile specimens based on a length-enriched eXtended Finite Element approach by E. Benvenuti, R. Tovo, P. Livieri

    Published 2013-04-01
“…The proposed criterion is based on a regularized version of the eXtended Finite Element Method (XFEM), which has been previously applied to concrete-like materials. The main feature of the proposed approach is that the cracking process is not treated as a local process, but it is modeled by assuming that macro-cracks stem from the interaction of micro-cracks within a finite width process zone. …”
