A New Microstructure Development Model for the Evaluation of Concrete Setting Time
Published 2016-01-01“…The new analysis technique for calculating setting time that was developed for this study utilizes both percolation theory and the strength development model. To verify the analytical results obtained using the new model, a critical volume ratio of hydrates was determined and a series of final setting times in concrete were experimentally investigated for different temperatures, mineral admixtures (FA: fly ash; GGBFS: ground granulated blast furnace slag), and a chemical admixture (superplasticizer). …”

Construction of a neural network model for small-scale shaded relief maps constrained by topographic feature lines
Published 2025-12-01“…Traditional manual methods for generating shaded relief maps can effectively highlight major topographic structures but are time-consuming and require professional skills. Analytical shading methods are faster but often lead to maps overloaded with terrain details, obscuring key topographic features, especially in Small-Scale Shaded Relief Maps (SSSR-Maps). …”

Tomato rot by Rhizopus microsporus alters native fungal community composition and secondary metabolite production
Published 2025-01-01“…We assessed the impact of the symbiotic R. microsporus harboring its endosymbiont as well as the fungus cured of it on: (1) the magnitude of spoilage in tomato fruits, as evaluated by Koch's postulate for pathogenicity, (2) the shifts in native communities of endophytic fungi inhabiting these fruits, as examined by ITS rRNA gene metabarcoding and (3) secondary metabolites generated by these communities, as analyzed using multi-analyte LC-MS/MS. The pathogenicity test showed that the symbiotic endobacterium-containing R. microsporus W2-50 was able to cause tomato fruit spoilage. …”

The Lagrangian and Hamiltonian for the Two-Dimensional Mathews-Lakshmanan Oscillator
Published 2020-01-01“…The purpose of this paper is to illustrate the theory and methods of analytical mechanics that can be effectively applied to the research of some nonlinear nonconservative systems through the case study of two-dimensionally coupled Mathews-Lakshmanan oscillator (abbreviated as M-L oscillator). (1) According to the inverse problem method of Lagrangian mechanics, the Lagrangian and Hamiltonian function in the form of rectangular coordinates of the two-dimensional M-L oscillator is directly constructed from an integral of the two-dimensional M-L oscillators. (2) The Lagrange and Hamiltonian function in the form of polar coordinate was rewritten by using coordinate transformation. (3) By introducing the vector form variables, the two-dimensional M-L oscillator motion differential equation, the first integral, and the Lagrange function are written. …”
