Abnormal link detection algorithm based on semi-local structure by Haoran SHI, Lixin JI, Shuxin LIU, Gengrun WANG

    Published 2022-02-01
“…With the research in network science, real networks involved are becoming more and more extensive.Redundant error relationships in complex systems, or behaviors that occur deliberately for unusual purposes, such as wrong clicks on webpages, telecommunication network spying calls, have a significant impact on the analysis work based on network structure. As an important branch of graph anomaly detection, anomalous edge recognition in complex networks aims to identify abnormal edges in network structures caused by human fabrication or data collection errors.Existing methods mainly start from the perspective of structural similarity, and use the connected structure between nodes to evaluate the abnormal degree of edge connection, which easily leads to the decomposition of the network structure, and the detection accuracy is greatly affected by the network type.In response to this problem, a CNSCL algorithm was proposed, which calculated the node importance at the semi-local structure scale, analyzed different types of local structures, and quantified the contribution of edges to the overall network connectivity according to the semi-local centrality in different structures, and quantified the reliability of the edge connection by combining with the difference of node structure similarity.Since the connected edges need to be removed in the calculation process to measure the impact on the overall connectivity of the network, there was a problem that the importance of nodes needed to be repeatedly calculated. Therefore, in the calculation process, the proposed algorithm also designs a dynamic update method to reduce the computational complexity of the algorithm, so that it could be applied to large-scale networks.Compared with the existing methods on 7 real networks with different structural tightness, the experimental results show that the method has higher detection accuracy than the benchmark method under the AUC measure, and under the condition of network sparse or missing, It can still maintain a relatively stable recognition accuracy.…”

Wireless sensor network redundancy node sleep scheduling algorithm by Tao WEN, Dong-qing ZHANG, Quan GUO, Xiao-ying SONG

    Published 2014-10-01
“…A scheduling algorithm for redundant nodes is proposed to effectively prolong the lifetime of WSN.The algorithm focuses on two problems. One is to prevent a large number of nodes shifting at the same time from working state into sleeping state to avoid the appearance of blind areas, the other is to employ different scheduling strategies on border nodes and internal nodes to avoid contraction of the network boundary by judging whether a node is on the network boundary according to the number of working nodes in its neighbor table. The simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively prolong the lifetime of WSN.…”

    Published 2024-03-01
“…Within the intricate environment of integrated space-terrestrial network, VNE algorithms face novel challenges due to the high variability in user demands, stringent limitations of heterogeneous resources, expansive spatiotemporal scales, and the dynamic nature of network topologies. In light of this, scholars worldwide have delved deeply into the VNE issues pertaining to these networks. This review firstly summarized the three core challenges faced by VNE in these networks based on their characteristics. It then elucidated the current state of research from two major perspectives: scenario modeling and algorithmic solutions, primarily encompassing Quality of Service (QoS) aware VNE, multi-layer cross-domain heterogeneous network VNE, dynamic VNE, and problem-solving algorithms for VNE.Both theoretical and practical strategies to address the VNE challenges in integrated space-terrestrial networks were analyzed in depth. Finally, it provided a foresight into future research directions, aim to offer valuable insights for subsequent studies.…”

Dynamic beam shut-off algorithm for LEO satellite constellation by Shuaijun LIU, Yuemei HU, Chunshi FAN, Teng LING, Lixiang LIU

    Published 2020-04-01
“…Aiming at the problems of the relatively dense coverage of the satellites in the space segment of the low earth orbit (LEO) multibeam satellite constellation network, which resulted in relatively dense areas in some regions, causing severe inter-beam interference and unnecessary beam resource overhead,a beam shut-off algorithm was proposed with global coverage requirements. The dynamic beam shut-off (DBSO) optimization problem was formulated in LEO multibeam satellite constellation network. Then, the problem was proved to be NP-complete and a heuristic DBSO algorithm was proposed.Simulation scenario considers the Iridium constellation network scenario with total 3 168 beams, and it shows that the number of required activated beams is only 1 913 with 39.61% beam resource reduction.…”

Fast panoramic image stitching algorithm based on parameter regression by Fan GUO, Xiaohu LI, Wentao LIU, Jin TANG

    Published 2023-09-01
“…In reality, the field of view of images acquired by cameras was usually limited, and the demand for panoramic images was increasing. Therefore, a fast panoramic image stitching algorithm based on parameter regression was proposed for panoramic image sequences. The traditional image registration task was transformed into deep learning combined with machine learning, a multi-scale deep convolutional neural network (MDCNN) based on Gaussian difference pyramid was designed to extract features of stitching images, and LightGBM regression model was used to predict stitching parameters. The transformation matrix and the focal length of the camera were obtained to align the images, and a hyperbolic image fusion algorithm was designed to eliminate the stitching seam between the images. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can quickly mosaic images and obtain clearer and more natural panoramic mosaic effects than the existing representative algorithms. It also has good adaptability for infrared images.…”
