An energy-efficient multi-channel MAC protocol for linear sensor network
Published 2022-12-01“…Sensor nodes in linear sensor network (LSN) are deployed linearly due to the linear topology of the monitoring area.Most of the state-of-the-art medium access control (MAC) protocols designed for LSN adopted the duty-cycling and pipelined-forwarding (DCPF) schemes.They can reduce data propagation delay and network energy consumption but may still cause issues such as transmission competition, interference, and energy hole.To address these issues, an improved DCPF MAC protocol was proposed based on multiple channels and redundant-node deployment for LSN.The extensive simulations based on OPNET demonstrate that, compared with existing protocols, the proposed protocol shows a better performance in terms of energy efficiency, packet delivery ratio, throughput, and packet transmission latency.…”

Minimum delay algorithm based on time aggregated graph in DTN network
Published 2017-10-01“…The DTN network has the characteristics of dynamic topology change,thus the routing algorithm of static network can not solve the routing problem of time-varying network,and can not support fast transmission of given tasks.The existing time-variant routing algorithm CGR (contact graph routing) uses the earliest contact to obtain the shortest path,but because of the influence of the order of the connectivity period,the CGR algorithm has low link utilization.To solve this problem,the method of finding the shortest path was proposed.Besides,in order to characterize the relation between the different connect periods of the same link,the time series of node cache was added to the time aggregated graph.Based on this,the end-to-end multi-path shortest delay routing algorithm for the known task requirements was proposed.Finally,the feasibility of the algorithm was proved by an example.…”

Design of wavelength rotation graph model applied in wavelength switching optical network
Published 2010-01-01“…Based on distributing uniformly virtual network topology links and associated wavelengths to the surface of rotating sphere,a new wavelength rotation graph model of wavelength switching optical network(WSON) was constructed,and a creative method to solve the routing and wavelength assignment(RWA) problems was proposed.The simulation results show that if the wavelength number of each link is set separately to 4 and 8,the average blocking probability of the RWA based on the rotation graph model reduces by 5.03% and 9.71%,and the average resource utilization increases by 3.3% and 1.54% respectively,as compared with the existing model.This method would be useful for solving the problem of optical network RWA which has wavelength conversion capabilities.…”

Conditional diagnosability of exchanged crossed cube under the MM model
