Endocrine Actions of Osteocalcin
Published 2013-01-01“…Moreover, both total and undercarboxylated osteocalcins increase following physical activity with potential positive effects on glucose tolerance. Despite that these evidences have been only in part confirmed in humans, further prospective investigations are needed to definitively establish the endocrine role of osteocalcin both in the general population and cohorts of patients with diabetes or other metabolic disorders.…”

Innate Immune Cells in Liver Inflammation
Published 2012-01-01“…Therefore, pathogenic microorganism must be efficiently eliminated whilst harmless antigens derived from the gastrointestinal tract need to be tolerized in the liver. In order to achieve this, the liver innate immune system is equipped with multiple cellular components; monocytes, macrophages, granulocytes, natural killer cells, and dendritic cells which coordinate to exert tolerogenic environment at the same time detect, respond, and eliminate invading pathogens, infected or transformed self to mount immunity. …”

Cross Validation Based Distributed Greedy Sparse Recovery for Multiview Through-the-Wall Radar Imaging
Published 2019-01-01“…The developed imaging algorithm named by CV-CSOMP which separates the total measurements into reconstruction measurements and CV measurements is able to achieve the accurate imaging reconstruction and estimation of recovery error tolerance by the iterative CSOMP calculation. The proposed CV-CSOMP imaging algorithm not only can reduce the communication costs among radar units, but also can provide the desirable imaging performance without the prior information such as the sparsity or noise level. …”

LIFE ANALYSIS OF LOW SPEED DIESEL ENGINE BEDPLATE BASED ON CRACK GROWTH
Published 2020-01-01“…Taking a low-speed two-stroke marine diesel engine bedplate as the research object. The main bearing seat(material ZG200-400) crack growth rate was tested, and the fatigue crack growth rate and the Paris formula of the stable expansion section were obtained. The three-dimensional crack propagation life analysis model of the main bearing seat was established by the sub-model method. The real boundary conditions of the main bearing seat was obtained by combining with the analysis results of the alternating stress of the bedplate under the actual operating conditions of the engine(360 degree crank angles). The crack growth life of the main bearing seat with initial crack was calculated. The analysis results show that the crack growth life is less than that of the low-speed two-stroke marine diesel engine overhaul inspection interval. The research results of the thesis provide an reference for the damage tolerance in design engineering application.…”
