Effects of Evolving Gender Roles on Women’s Economy: Highlighting the Female Experience Through Painting.
Published 2025“…Using a qualitative data collection approach, the study offered a detailed understanding of the evolving gender roles in Kabale District and contributed to discussions on gender equality and economic progress. The findings would provide valuable insights for policymakers, development practitioners, and local communities striving to advance women’s economic rights and promote equity within family structures.…”

On unsteady two-phase fluid flow due to eccentric rotation of a disk
Published 2003-01-01“…It is found that the solutions remain valid for all values of the frequency of oscillations of the disk including the resonant frequency, which is equal to the angular velocity of rotation. But, in absence of particles, only in the case of resonance no oscillatory solution is possible, which is similar to that of solid-body rotation as pointed out by Thornley (1968). …”

The 2-adic complexity and the 1-error 2-adic complexity of single cycle T-functions
Published 2014-03-01“…The 2-adic complexities of the coordinate sequences derived from single cycle T-functions over F 2n were investigated.Let j be an integer such that 0≤ j≤n−1.It is shown that the 2-adic complexity of the j th coordinate sequence is upper bounded by lb(22j+1).The distribution of the corresponding 2-adic number associated with the j th coordinate sequence of all single cycle T-functions was also discussed, which implies that the upper bound is attainable.Moreover,1-error 2-adic complexity was also studied. It was proved that the 1-error 2-adic complexity of the j th coordinate sequence is equal to its 2-adic complexity except for j=0.…”

La représentation du genre au XIXe siècle. Masculinités dans le couple royal et la biographie de François d’Assise de Bourbon
Published 2023-07-01“…Isabel has been extensively studied in this respect, while Francis is a more obscure but equally relevant case study. With respect to external issues, the biography of Francis in his marriage is marked by the period of transition in 19th century notions of gender from traditional-aristocratic to Victorian-bourgeois society, a transition in which the couple was judged by various strata of society and from different points of view and canons of behaviour.…”

An Efficient Transmission Power Design for SWIPT Multi-antenna Network Integrated by an Intelligent Reflecting Surface
Published 2024-06-01“…The sum transmission power minimization problem is formulated under the quality-of-service constraints of data rate and energy harvesting amount at the TS users and the equal time-switching periods. The successive convex approximation and alternating optimization methods are exploited to construct efficient algorithms for finding the suboptimal precoding beamforming vectors at the BS and the phase shifts at the IRS elements. …”

Moving source geolocation algorithm and performance analysis using dual-satellites sequence measurements and calibration sources
Published 2015-10-01“…The method for locating a moving source on earth using a sequence of time difference of arrival(TDOA)and frequency difference of arrival(FDOA)measurements pairs obtained by dual-satellites was presented in the presence of calibration sources with accurate positions.First, the difference calibration(DC)location algorithm aiming to the mobile target was derived, and its theoretical performance was also analytically derived. The result demonstrates that the DC localization variance could not reach the CRB,although it could eliminate the location bias produced by the position and velocity errors of the dual-satellites.For this reason,a two-step optimal association location algorithm was proposed, and its theoretical performance was proved to be equal to the CRB.Finally,a variety of numerical experiments are performed to corroborate the superiority of the geolocation algorithms and the effectiveness of the performance analysis.…”
