Outage performance of SWIPT-NOMA-CR network with imperfect SIC and CSI
Published 2023-03-01“…For the cognitive relay network based on simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), which is termed as SWIPT-NOMA-CR network, considering the practical situation of imperfect successive interference cancellation (SIC) and channel state information (CSI), the outage performance of secondary users was studied by using three relay transmission schemes including ideal, time switching (TS) and power splitting (PS).The analytical expressions of outage probability were derived for the secondary users, and the theoretical derivations were validated by Monte Carlo simulations. The results show that the outage performance of secondary users is impaired due to the imperfect SIC and CSI.Compared with the imperfect CSI, the imperfect SIC causes more severe loss to the outage performance of the system. Moreover, the outage probability of PS relay transmission scheme is lower than that of TS scheme. When the imperfect SIC and CSI conditions are changed, the outage probability gap with PS scheme is less than that with TS scheme, which indicates that the reliability of PS relay transmission scheme is superior to that of TS scheme.…”

Research on Performance of Fiber-Based Multiple Apertures Receiver System with PPM Modulation
Published 2021-06-01“…The performance of fi ber-based FSO with multiple apertures receiver system was studied for pulse position modulation (PPM) .Expressions of PPM modulated signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and bit-error rate (BER) for fi ber-based FSO multiple apertures receiver system were presented based on the probability density function of Gamma-Gamma intencity distribution and non–central chisquare fi ber coupling effi ciency distribution under atmospheric infl uence.Selection combining (SC), equal gain combining (EGC) and maximum ratio combining (MRC) were considered to be three signal combining methods for multiple apertures receiver system. The BER performance of 4PPM modulted SC, EGC and MRC fi ber-based multiple apertures receiver system and single aperture receiver system with the same total aperture area were comparative analyzed by Monte Carlo simulation. The BER performance of fi ber-based multiple apertures receiver systems in 4PPM and 8PPM modulation modes were directly compared for diff erent combining methods.…”

Reliable Service Execution Based on Probabilistic Moving Prediction in Mobile Wireless Sensor Network
Published 2014-02-01“…By collaborating with each other, nodes in mobile wireless sensor network(MWSN)can filter, calculate and composite the data so as to provide it in forms of services to different users. However, due to the uncertain moving behavior and the limited wireless transmission, executing services in MWSN has to consider the time needed in nodes executing their services, and the physical region in which two nodes can communicate with each other by wireless channel.Probabilistic methods were used to define and predict the uncertain moving behavior of each node, and then the reliability was measured that two nodes can successfully communicate with each other under their wireless transmission range during a certain time period in the future. An approximate approach based on Monte Carlo simulation was also given to calculate nodes’ motions and the reliabilities of their successful communications.By consider the thresholds of execution time and the reliabilities of nodes’ successful communications, two algorithms were given to make the scheme of selecting nodes executing a group of services provided by the users, one using the approach of completely searching and one adopting the Pareto-dominated local k-th optimized method. Finally, experimented were conducted to evaluate our methods.…”
